Problem with this is the fish are either non-compliant and ignored sidequests to get more shit and make more content/money or were just straight up to retarded to do things properly. In retrospect they should have killed Jon with the Vance/Tay assassination and instead of making him dick around with the fish make him a proper Duke minion who messed with the fish more in a manner conducive to the show having moments as opposed to a snoozefest.
 
The "contestants" have lost most of their drive and motivation to continue because of how retarded they are. They have a TON of free time when they're not given quests or have vampire fights to do. Their nutrition is poor again, they have sleep troubles again like s1 and 2 contestants. Vance and Letty have really strong roles when deciding the way the show goes and Jon although he would cause issues and was injured his inclusion added a lot especially when he had a bigger STORY role, at some points he was having a lot of fun and was tolerable, but the assassination and his complete loss against jimmy's tard rage put him into a tough position. Jet is running out of options of what to do because jimmy's tard rage and the fact tay cries and shits herself when anything she doesnt like happens. Tay and Jimmy have single handedly killed the vibe and the progression of the season jet had planned.

I think the thing that pushed him over the edge was Becks quietly laughing as she applied the makeup—not because it made him look gay, which is how he took it—but because of his intense gaze making him look like an absolute psychopath.

I liked Jon a lot more in S1; despite his goofiness and constant missteps, he had empathy. He always looked out for the others when they were down and stalwartly tried to emulate biblical parables. It was ridiculous, but it endeared him.

He had none of that this time around. He just got progressively bitter when the gay comments started trickling in. He forgot the #1 schoolyard rule: pretend it doesn't bother you (even if it does); show how much you hate that nickname and it will surely stick forever. Protest the gay jokes too much and you'll be walking off set in purple lipstick.

Regarding the lore do you really expect a dozen fully grown adults living outside to stay fully invested in dumb DND lore shit? I know I'd stop giving a fuck.
 
I cant reply to the last post, but Jon lost a lot of steam by the end of the walk off because of Jimmy. Jimmy and Jon are unable to translate monkey to monkey and ended up beefing hard, sadly they're both retarded and start fighting like chimps. When they "fought" it wasn't an actual fight. Jimmy hugged himself nonstop and barely threw punches, meanwhile Jon had been training and had good technique and was taking it seriously. Both knew they were being used for tard content and both just tried their best to avoid being humiliated. The result? Jimmy gets praised for doing well and gets the crystal cluster even though he was the least invested in the entire thing. Jon on the other hand got insulted by almost everyone, no praise for trying, and he lost interest in the story.
 
Going forward they need to have fresh faces more and maybe only have like 1/3 of the fish if at all be old cast members. Clearly you'll have people like Jon (especially), Jimmy, and Tay who will devlope methods, weather intended or not of derailing shit with things like meltdowns, and will only worsen as staff comply to wrangle said tards.

From what I remember he thought he deserved more money than he was paid and went broke a month or two after S2. He was crying and begging for money online and couldn't decide to go back to Japan or stay in the US. Shortly after something happened and he played the whole thing off like nothing happened. He fell off after the show, but became some what ostracized by the fishtank community.

Firstly you must've missed it but Jimmy was using what's called a "Cross Guard" which Scott (the martial arts instructor) told him to use until Jon gassed. He wasn't "hugging himself". If you want to be upset at his strategy then blame Scott and Sam for telling him to do it.

Secondly if you think Jon had anything close to resembling good technique then I'm sorry but you have a learning disability. They're both spergs with poor motor control.

He unironically saved S2 he was the funniest and longest running bit, but his introduction to the tank was taken seriously like it was the real MR. Beast. The funniest part was that everyone instantly knew it wasn't him EXCEPT Shinji. Shinji took awhile to realize it was a joke. He also had his character Arc where he abandoned his mr beast persona. also he beat the shit out of Ben in boxing.

Jon may not have the best technique, but he was actually trying
Jimmy was literally standing there doing nothing for 3 rounds while Jon layed into him. His cross guard isnt even to help block hits, Hes literally just hugging himself to block his body.
