I think the fact they even seem to have "banned topics" lists for everyone is a double edged sword. Without it they won't know whats too far, but since it is given to each player, they'll know what sets off each other when they get into conflict. Jimmy's vagueposting is a symptom of this, he knows what he isn't allowed to say so he can just go up tot the line but makes sure to not cross it

The fight

-Before the fight, I like many people predicted Jimmy would cheat in order to try to win. The first round, he surprisingly did not do that. He played the game cheaply (using a turtle shell technique for a whole round when only body punches are allowed) but did not cheat. Before the start of the second round, Tayleigh started whispering something to him she did not want other people hearing. Shortly after this, Jimmy used tard charge and dick punch to attack Jon (not boxing). Jimmy also accused Jon of dick punching, when Jimmy was the first to do it.

Jon clearly won the fight, and Jimmy would've been put on his ass if punches to the face were allowed.

Why does this season suck now? No justice for Jon. Reasons:

Jimmy exemplifies characteristics of the anti-seductive windbag. ​

-Talking too much, doing too little. When Jimmy thinks he's not being treated fairly, he will complain to no end about it. Jon on the other hand primarily suffers silently until he feels boundaries are crossed.

Jon is quick to forgive people. ​

-Even after being team killed, Jon was willing to put it behind and make it like things never happened. Jimmy and Tayleigh just couldn't stop running their mouths.

Jon has been the target of hatred the whole season, because he stands out.​

-He's not like other any of the other characters. He didn't force some buddy buddy friendship like Jimmy and Tayleigh, and he didn't try to blend in like Letty and Vance. He didn't talk shit about people behind their back, and anything negative he said was in front of that person's face. People can go on him for being so against the gay stuff- but he made an effort to play a character this season and put in a lot he's doing exactly what other characters have done in similar circumstances i.e: "I don't wanna be the ____ of this season".

Most of the Jon troll/gay stuff came to go against the Jon supporters, as they're the only ones who could seem to stand for something.

I would agree that Jon has an unskillful reaction to hurt, but at least he doesn't assault smaller people when he's upset like Jimmy/Tayleigh

Jimmy runs his mouth all day and should be known for what he is- a fat, lazy, out of shape edgy redditor. ​

-Rather than overcoming the trauma experienced in his life and removing the victim tag. Jimmy constantly becomes a victim whenever possible. Brian had this tag, but Jimmy does it way more frequently. Jimmy just doesn't get the same amount of hatred because he's a nihilist loser who doesn't care about anything. Brian can actually attract women.

-Tayleigh manipulates Jimmy by keeping him close to her so he can do her dirty work when necessary (she's not gonna fuck you bro). Tai is funny, but not worth watching a show for. He's a good supporting character. Letty started working with Jon towards the end, but no real protest when he left. Vance can't get more than a sentence out when Jimmy is around, and hasn't stood up for anything, other than shooting Jon in the back. None of these characters apart from Tai are likeable.

Jon has grown physically and mentally from season 1. It's nice to see a character care about their health, not eat like a slob and run their mouth about meaningless things all day, and try to make a change in their community. Jon has plenty of issues to work on, but he's working on improving himself. That sets him apart from the other contestants.

With all that being said, I can understand how Jon not sleeping at the camp site and avoiding the TTS torture would piss off the other campers. Jon did receive special treatment from production in some regards, but it was a double edged sword. Jon received nonstop TTS coming in calling Jon gay and retarded.

Boring Friendtank, fix your show Jet.

Also we have seen a lot of "it's so over" posting the past few days, and I agree that it's lame that they haven't leaned more heavily into the plot aspects. Tayleigh is supposed to be a vampire now, but when I just tuned in she was helping the other fish ward off a vampire attack? What does that even mean other than silly make up?

That said, they haven't abandoned the plot entirely. The Duke moving in on the town and retrieving the staff of worms yesterday was a major plot development for sure, and the blood rave on July 4th was one of the season highlights. They could still pull off a big finish.

Season 2.5 has been the best season of fishtank. It's like watching someone spend time making a tabletop campaign world for players who don't know how to roleplay, get mad when people call their characters gay, and get into literal fistfights over petty shit but somehow the DM is still cool enough to just vibe with people and find something that works.

Dumbgay told the fish that tonight will be adversarial, there will be relived memories and a couple new faces will be joining them. Letty and Jimmy think either Frank and/or Abi will be returning. Jimmy isn't happy about the idea of Abi coming back and says, "I will actually hit a bitch".

Jimmy and Letty then start arguing about if men and women are equally evil. Jimmy says they are, Letty slightly goes TERF mode.

While Vance is extremely boring, Tay is not only boring but has actively been neutering the best part of this season because of her freak out over Xavier. There’s no point in her even being there because they’ve been censoring all negative TTS about he after she stayed inside. Jimmy is just extremely obnoxious and makes me fast forward my restream whenever he starts talking.
