With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

  • 1 Star — Absolute disaster. Unwatchable, boring, production fucked it up bad, the fish were lame

I've watched several streams and this is my takeaway as well. Not saying that the fish were Saints, but they all come across as people that would flat out refuse to hurt someone, or at least hesitate.

A lot of these IP2 guys come off as tryhards that wouldn't hesitate to hurt someone for the prize. I hope Letty realizes she's dealing with actual junkies and losers with nothing else to lose. Some of them also seem rapey.

Jimmy started openly weeping when Bic wanted to spar. The aggression these people are going to have would make him tweak. I think Brian is the only one who could even exist here.

Letty stealing the MRE has caused two streamers (DBR and Homeless) to almost engage in a fist fight before the show even starts.
Also earlier Jon was trying to prostitute out Letty to get supplies.
 
The vests they are required to wear and repower every so often require a multitool and 3 AA batteries to swap. :story:

Jon always provides Jontent even when he's being an omboxious retard. This is going to be good. And then Jon is going to tard rage over getting shot. Only this time he's around people who don't know how to tard wrangle him so I expect great and terrible things from God's Strongest Retard.
 
Some of the contestants are complaining about how cheap Ice is being with the provided items, and they're also shitting on the show's sponsor (f3 energy drinks) :story: I can't imagine the Fish doing this, at least not while on the show.

edit: Which is the best stream to watch? The ones I keep watching keep shitting out.

I hate saying this, but I don't see anyone else doing it: Baked Alaska. He combines streams and jumps from most interesting one to another. Wish there was an alternative. But it beats clicking yourself.

edit: And right as I recommend it, he watches something else until it begins. What a timing.

I don't really remember the S1 fish doing it but the S2 fish came into the tank swinging. Summer and Tay talked a lot of shit about Zipp being "vomit fuel" the first 5 days and about 2/3rds the way through the season Trish and Tay started shit talking the show being directionless and lacking plans. Not to mention Cole's big rants about recycled bits and trying to shoehorn people into the image of specific S1 fish.

I don't blame the season 2 Fish for complaining half way through the show, the way they were being treated and staff's open contempt for them was fucked up.

It would have been one thing if they were unwitting craigslist people but they had ten people who were game to make a fun show and got punted around for it.

Anyway, more Hunger Games stuff - Jon just crouched down and said that the "reason" he got to be on the show and not any other Fishtank person is because he's chosen by God to bring back Christian values and says guys like Jimmy and Mauro aren't on because they aren't deserving of the opportunity by God or whatever shit Nick Flentus Tucko Colson Donal Twump etcetera
 
I'm watching a guy named SlightlyHomeless. He's the guy that had his shit stolen by Letty. He's also had his MRE stolen and someone came up and hit him so he took on damage points. I kind of feel bad for him lol. He's vowing revenge on Letty and warned another contestant to not trust her. Homeless also said the only thing he's worried about his "Sam Hyde's guys".
