With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

  • 1 Star — Absolute disaster. Unwatchable, boring, production fucked it up bad, the fish were lame

Sam got the Pajeet and Ian to work out with him but Ian dipped out quick, saying he can't be caught working out on cam because he's on disability.......................
 
Calling it now: the tongue twisters they're recording right now and the weird head motions in the interviews is setup for them to develop "AI models" of the contestants.
 
Alex, Binx, and Mizzy were in b3 talking about Burt and thinking he might've been the plant because his overall erratic behavior that seems too crazy to be real. Binx said something like "If I were to come up with the funniest person, it would be Burt." They were also skeptical of Burt's story of hooking up with a guy from Grindr in an airport bathroom before a flight. Mizzy thinks Burt and Ted could've worked together to steal candy for reasons i couldn't hear. Now it's just Mizzy in Luke and Mizzy thinks Simbal might be part of production, because he wasn't in the hulu trailer and she recalled a comment Simbal made after Luke BTFO'd him where he said to Ben "You said this wouldn't happen" or something like that, which makes Mizzy suspicious because why would he ever talk to production about violence unless he was part of their team.
Right now they're going through the same stuff from before. Smack is probably first on the chopping block

Sam took Simbal aside to lift weights with him. Simbal clearly is hooked and thinks Sam is the coolest now. Sam claims his feather decorations were influenced by his native ancestry (only 2%).

I was watching director cam on YouTube so I missed a lot of the workout with Simbal.
 
The first third of every season containing hours of "who is the plant" dialogue from both fans and contestants, never resulting in a clear or satisfying answer, is becoming funny just from the sheer predictability of it. Same with the constant site outages, bad audio, and production management fumbles (although they really seem do be doing better this time, Simbal reading the speech is one of the best bits they have done so far)
 
I wonder if they keep asking Burt to redo his lines so they can have data to train an AI to do his voice for TTS

How do they know there is a plant? Has some producer said anything or is this just speculation?

Fuck I hope Ian goes first. Sam tries to help him out and do workouts (Cracks a joke saying he'll cure Ians disability) but instead he does one set and refuses to do any more out of fear he will lose his disability payments if he continues to workout.

It could be some long-term disability payments or California state disability. Way too much to be SSDI. Insurance scam probably. But this also involves him having worked a job beforehand… I don’t know if I believe he’s had a job previously. Maybe he hurt his back at the headshop.
