Someone mentioned that it's commendable that as a paranoid schizophrenic he sticks to taking his medications; considering that as well as the way he talks about the wonders of drugs and supplements and how they can "fix" Alex, it seems like one of his particular fixations is a complete faith in pharmaceuticals. It's a good thing in that he's self-motivated to stay medicated which makes him probably about as functional as he can be, but it also could explain him seeking to "fix" people around him in the same way they fix him.
That's an interesting point, Burt advertised that he's vaxxed and boosted too

I'm curious about what happened to Burt after his first kiss and his first sexual encounter (allegedly 19 and 26-28 according to an earlier cap of his Reddit account but I could be misremembering).
Serious schizophrenia symptoms usually first become apparent in a person's early to mid 20s and generally get worse before plateauing in the earlier 30s.

This is much more likely than any sexual trauma. My knowledge and personal experience tell me that schizos are usually slightly weird as teenagers and university aged people and that they really fall off after that.

Said experience also makes me concerned about the choice of including Burt. He's very funny on the show but things could get dark very fast. Not trying to clutch pearls, but it's already getting a bit dark for me. As others have said, it's a terrible mental illness.

After seeing the video of him on Youtube from around college aged, I think, and how vastly he's changed I can't help but wonder what triggered it. Was it sexual in nature? Did his mental conditions worsen? A combination of the two? How do his parents feel about the sudden turn in his life? Are they still in contact, estranged?
He's mentioned Africa, but I don't know if his parents imigrated or not. If true, it might explain why he describes his illness as a possession.

Computer telling burt to destroy the fan.

Jimmy and Greg are participating in some guys Indiegogo for a movie they will be actors in.
Jimmy has tried the hardest of any of the fish to maintain relevance post fishtank, and it has not been going well for him i would say. Maybe this will be his next big break!
Unrelated, @Plasticise I'm posting your avatar for posterity because it's adorable.

Burt is on the verge of a meltdown. Josie(TTS) told him to destroy a fan, Mizzy hid it from him. He's incredibly animated, sweating profusely and his voice keeps getting incredibly high pitched. The rest of the cast thinks what Josie said about destroying the fan is funny, Burt is treating it like a life or death crisis.

Ben had to come in and calm him down. Explanation was that 'computer's 'thermal imaging' detected that the fan was running too hot, but since Mizzy unplugged it, it's fine now. Burt explained that he wasn't going to destroy the fan, merely disassemble it and then put it back together after checking it for 'secret messages'. He's now shirtless and eating pizza. God bless this sped.
