This is what gooner culture has done. In their mind, that word is corrupted to a point where a child calling their father a totally normal word of endearment is "weird", or "creepy". It's like when someone sees a child being a child in a show, and goes "ugh, I can't believe they're sexualizing children", it's projection of their own degeneracy on something completely innocent.

As far as what Burt said overall, I think at least part of it is played up. He already said something along the lines of "I'm going to do something people will remember forever" and, when Ben questioned him about it, he said it was just promotional talk for the show. Then, the cast got told by production to stop coddling each other, and start being real reality show stars. I'm not sure why exactly would this be what he wants to be known as even in kayfabe, but he's a diagnosed schizo, there's a lot going on in a schizo's head that can't be understood
 
Was mostly occupied with election shit, I've read the thread but still wondering, if they actually told them anything about the result? I would assume the shitlibs like Sneed and Smaack would be asking for it. SHow is still carried by alex and burt but if it get dull that would probably cause some commotion
