With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

  • 1 Star — Absolute disaster. Unwatchable, boring, production fucked it up bad, the fish were lame

Geez I'm dense. I just figured out the reason they ask Fish what the prize is, is because it's in the contract.

They want to know which Fish actually read it.
 
Luke AND Connor under one roof would have been kino. The levels of flip out Slimeball would have had to endure between those two and now Jobe would have brought the happiest of tears to my eyes.

Smaack should have been chilling with Payton and learning what it's like to be friends with people and not internet rotted goblins. I miss that girl.

Most likely. My guess is that once she sat down and watched it at home, she realized all of the fish were getting flak through TTS. Her pride made her leave, but if everyone else is getting it worse, she's happy.

My theory is that Burt started doing HGH, didn't lift heavy enough, got that HGH gut, then settled for fillers once he stopped HGH. He has some natural musculature, but some of his muscles are far too stiff imo.
 
Sam told Alex that Wild Randy is on his way to the house. TTS has repeatedly claimed to be Wild Randy and threatened to rape Alex's family and monkeys. Alex is now having a meltdown over rape jokes and how they aren't funny, etc.

I'm thinking either Airsoft Fatty or Frank Hassle is on their way. Might have just been gaslighting though.
 
I like how Alex is talking about how rape is too far and saying he's gonna leave, then is asked what his favourite Nirvana song is by TTS, so he starts singing "Polly" which is about a kidnapping and rape.

If we hadn't been living with this guy 24/7 for the last 2 weeks I would have thought he was trolling, but no, Alex is unironically the biggest idiot to ever step foot in the tank and he probably doesn't even realize the song is about rape.
 
I remember in the past, Brandon Buckingham has been in the Fishtank when Frank was there.

On his channel, he's LARPed as a counselor before.

It would be cool if Frank got them traumatized and then Brandon came in as a fake therapist or something.

He probably won't be on this season because he just had a kid, though.

I'm torn because on one hand, yes, this is basically the perfect role for Frank. On the other hand, it's Frank.
As annoying as he is I don't know if Alex really deserves this, and if he gets pushed so hard he leaves that would be a major blow to the show.
I'd be totally on board for Frank if he exclusively targeted Symbal though.
