With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

  • 1 Star — Absolute disaster. Unwatchable, boring, production fucked it up bad, the fish were lame

Maybe Burt finally snapped and pulled another inmate into the porta potty.
 
Jet either came up with or okayed a terrible bit where the fish were given no direction whatsoever so he's throwing one of his patented wigger tantrums, which he will pass off as a HILARIOUS EPIC PRANK on the audience (which didn't work the last several times they did this exact same bit), then berate the fish for not being entertaining. It at least took longer to get to this this season, but Jet's a faggot and it was inevitable. Hey, showrunner: RUN THE SHOW. Don't expect the contestants to do your job for you.

ETA: for any dumb wiggers hatereading this thread (hi Jet!) I want to state for the record I have never been fooled by any of your gay fake shutdown bits. They have never ever worked and tonight is not an exception. But keep trying! It's almost as high-larious as feeding all the fish nothing but grits to make them lethargic and cause record low viewership in the latter half of S2!

I'll play devil advocate for a moment. The prison bit, save for Burt paying two thousand dollars to flirt with the fresh fish was flailing. Zero direction, messy delivery, it was rapidly becoming what held back season 2. Bits where the fish are forced to BE INTERESTING is never a good idea because they're not trained entertainers, they need guardrails rules and objectives. Having them make up random punishments on the spot is super risky because if they come up with three dud ideas in a row the bit is ruined. Production bailing on a bit that was in freefall is alright in my book.

Good Bits of the Fishtank Prison Experiment:

- Burt being a sex starved lunatic
- Jean being a gem of a woman and the only fish/freeloader who had any semblance of what was going on and how to act
-Production's first fix of muting Alex B by turning him into Prisoner X, he was ruining the entire program with his incessant yapping and inability to understand what role playing is.

In a room with the most absolutely retarded mic setup possible. Can't hear shit unless they're right under the mics, which are on the opposite end of the yard from the yard cam, and yard PTZ is spotty at best.

This season has been the best they've ever produced and finally on Day 19 they've done a bit which has missed the mark and been boring and their viewers aka customers aren't enjoying it.

Instead of accepting that they possibly could have made a mistake and move on to doing something else they instead have chosen to throw a tantrum and shut the whole show because of minor criticism of an otherwise fantastic season.

This is almost certainly a bit, but if he did actually end a wildly successful show over minor criticism this would be total and utter humiliation for Jet.

Dude, the entire site chat was raging and going riot mode against the show all day (mostly because Jizzy exists), it was not a "mild criticism". The season has been amazing all 19 days and then one bit seems to not do so well and the entire fanbase flipped their shit. The wiggers are in the right and they're proving a point that no matter how much you whine about the show, you will always come back.
 
This is stuff that has plagued every season, where they have an idea, but not second or third level to it. What happens in A situation? What happens in B situation?

Who could have possibly guessed that Mizzy and Simbo wouldnt be able to think of funny or entertaining bits as a guard?

Both sides have a point. This show is pretty experimental and some bits are bound to flop because of technical issues/the fish not being entertaining and the audience should know this. But Production shutting down the streams as a "joke" for their paying customers is such a stupid wigger chimpout.
