With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

  • 1 Star — Absolute disaster. Unwatchable, boring, production fucked it up bad, the fish were lame

ok so the first 100 or so episodes of season 1 are on plex for free with no login or anything so i went through all of the thumbnails didn't see them, then watched the beginning of the ones where the judge was in the thumbnail. I did check and make sure that it was only one case an episode so the beginning/thumbnail is enough to show you. Didn't find them in any of those with a 90% certainty.

The dinner scene was going so well and then Alex roamed in and ruined it. I actually craved a bit of sanity after his chaos and now Binx has arrived.

Alex is overcompensating to an outrageous degree. He gets louder when the stepdaughter is around, and while he does screech and yell out when the wife is around, he is much more submissive. I think he might be trying to play up for the daughter but she gets to throw him around as well, so I'm not entirely sure what he thinks he's doing.

Alex is somehow the worst part of this despite being the reason two of these characters have entered and given us a whole bunch of drama today. He's confirmed his daughter is a lesbian and referred to her as a gay kiddo stating he's happy he doesn't have to worry about gross men (she's in her twenties). He touches her weirdly, unnaturally. There might be some truth in the idea that he either wants to fuck her or something's happened between the two, leading her to lie about her sexuality to him. I do not believe she'd want this shrivelling worm of a man, but I thought more of Alex when we started so who knows.

Alex is guilty as fuck. His overinsistence about this cheating bullshit despite his wife checking out and not even antagonizing Binx anymore screams hidden agenda. He keeps touching the stepdaughter and ignoring his wife.

If Jackie stayed on and Burt gave her the time of time with Frank around... Oy.

Easy to miss but Alex's fat wife and gay stepdaughter have been telling the fish meta knowledge about this season. It doesn't matter at this point, but Vance did pull the stepdaughter aside and told her to stop. Goblina wife is still doing it. Seems like the wiggers didn't brief these two at all.
 
Alex has the saddest life imaginable.
  • Married to an abusive, crazy, manipulative, deathfat beaner
  • Is the "dad" to her 3 children from 3 different men, daughter is a lesbian
  • Wife clearly is mooching off his money, doesn't work, clearly eats 6,000 calories per day of slop paid for with his money
  • Has many, many personality disorders, possible mental illnesses, never shuts the fuck up
  • Nepotism personality disorder (abysmal/fragile self-esteem, over-seeks approval of others), dependent personality disorder, narcissism - not all, to name the obvious ones)
  • Habitual liar
  • Clearly doesn't work and get gibbs from his Mom- I assume he plays video games and watches anime all day every day with his gigafat wife
  • Probably has to take care of monkeys, his wife doesn't seem very mobile
  • Addictive personality disorder (meth, heroin, alcohol, weed, nicotine, probably others)
  • Delusions of grandeur
  • Doesn't take criticism well, immediately lashes out when questioned
Feel free to add to this list, I thought I'd put it to text for his inevitable lolcow thread.

Someone's just paid to handcuff Binx and Alex together. Alex has refused on the grounds it's "only $50k" (and Binx accepted the handcuff but was not willing to walk within grabbing distance of Alex's wife) so it looks like Alex has disqualified himself.

alex says he's leaving and that he's already packed

he's bragging about how he has millions of dollars
ben and jet are offering to sell him the house and/or to invest in fishtank
remember, that sam once asked him what $50k meant to him, and he said it was enough for a second chance and a new start at life and got down on his knees about it, and that he has nothing without his parents
just 30 mins before fatwife showed up, he was talking about spending 14 years as a heroin addict

Maybe he actually does have money since he can afford to feed his deathfat wife.
 
Ben and Jet pulled Alex aside... but called his bluff and asked him if he'd be interested in buying the house or joining as an investor, instead of disqualifying him. Alex is ranting about how much money he has and how banks ask him for money.
Sam brought Binx in to try and convince him while blocking the door and pretending Alex was injuring him every time Alex tried to leave (while flipping the lights on and off). After Alex eventually stormed off, they started trying to get Binx to convince Alex to invest. She pointed out Alex's wife is currently not allowing Alex to look at her, but suggested if they get Alex drunk enough he might confuse her with his wife. They're doing a booze run.
