With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

  • 1 Star — Absolute disaster. Unwatchable, boring, production fucked it up bad, the fish were lame

Gawd damn it, of all the nights for me to be away it had to be this one :( They better leave my Burt alone.

Prediction: Simbal is next to go. He has no value anymore, he's been defensive for a while and even Mizzy is at least better at engaging with Frank.
 
Nifty is actually assisting FrankenBurt by doing what she thinks is helping his delusional state. She's pushing him to be MORE paranoid about the other fish and Jeff. :story: She's pushing him to be untrustworthy of the other fish (which he should be anyway, but he's so easily manipulated)

Same and this is exactly why when people say things like the "MDE fanbase" I think they're pretty wrong. I think each of the projects that he and the wiggers have done have cultivated their own distinct (and of course sometimes overlapping) fanbases.

Especially if you look at the type of people on tweeter talking about this season of fishtank and some of the people doing live/react streams they very much do not come across as whatever the fuck an "MDE fan" is supposed to be (I don't know what an "MDE fan" is but I have some preconceived notions based on what I've seen/read over time)

Wrong. Maybe he will go next but he has value in that he is extremely reactive and confrontational when Frank hassles him. I think he is probably the most reactive person to Frank right now.

Besides that the "cymbalta hate" and general Indian/pajeet hatred generates tons of internal drama as well as messages + TTS. He is a net-profitable contestant from the production's perspective IMHO.

this was after he pulled jet into the confessional and confirmed that frank wasn't allowed to hit him back, and simbal was allowed to do whatever he felt necessary btw

I'm probably biased because he's the only one of the cast that I actively dislike right now. You're probably right, realistically Mizzy is next since everyone finds her annoying and pointless, but I'm hoping for a comeback from her.

I kind of feel like Peyton is the most "nontent" contestant right now so I would put her as the next one to go off. She already openly stated that she figured out everything is total bullshit so there is no real "game" for her left to play.

If anyone leaves before her, then they'll be getting rid of one of the core instigators/agitators that are currently on the show and so she'd become even quieter and have less of a point in being there.
 
I want them to do another thing like bloodgames in between seasons
maybe thats not realistic since its coming up on winter time though
i liked bloodgames a lot tho

I mean you have to give cymbalta some credit for being able to figure this out (even if he had to ask Jet directly) and then taking advantage of it lol. Did anyone else in another fishtank season just start openly beating on Frank by virtue of figuring out that he can't technically "fight back" (obviously he can still be a dick, but he can't throw punches)

See this is where I'm starting to bridge off. This is the real Dark Burt when people like Nifty are supporting his delusions. It's funny to watch him go off but it's another thing when Frank and Nifty are pretty much telling him he SHOULD be paranoid and listen to the voices and everyone IS against him.

Obviously I'm still watching the show so I don't think it's any more tasteless than usual, but seeing it all play out like that makes me feel some kind of disgust.
 
I think Nifty might think the mysteries Burt is "solving" are real. She did say she hadn't been watching the show. She just met him, might not be enough time to figure out he's a schizo.
