A few minutes ago Burt described to Nifty that as a Dom he likes to flip flop on his subs between being a caring dom and an abusive dom. Meanwhile, Frank Hassle is doing literally that to Burt.

The entire way Jeff acts seems like how I would expect a real homeless person at a homeless shelter to act to guard their shopping trolley of rusty cans or whatever. It is probably pretty effective in situations like that but its very clear he is 100% bark and 0% bite.
I can't tell if production keeps targeting just to see how much it will take for him to actually fight back or if he ever will - the most I've seen him do was throw the toaster across the kitchen like an hour ago (totally missing Frank) and punch some walls and shit like that.

Nifty just said that she was originally supposed to be involved with Season 1 but had availability issues at the time so they used her in Season 2 instead.
 
The Burt situation is weird and I don't know how they should handle it going forward. At this point I don't think Burt should win but maybe he should get some other prize. If it was just TTS gaslighting him, it would be fine, just part of the game seeing how he deals with the situation he's in but with the amount of intervention from staff it's like he's playing a different game. It wouldn't be fair for him to lose because staff pushes him to spend all his time and energy hunting for clues that don't matter. It also wouldn't be fair for him to win, even though he isn't even part of the game anymore (that's what it feels like anyway).

I think staff intervention should be used sparingly, doesn't matter if they're helping or harming the chances of the contestant, the more level the playing field, the more deserved each elimination and in turn the final winner will feel. I understand tweaking things a bit to keep an interesting contestant in etc. but what they're doing with Burt, while entertaining, feels weird in terms of the actual game.

Those turbonormie reactions exist only in your imagination, they are not being posted on Twitter for us to enjoy. I don't care about theoretical content, I want real, tangible content. Payton can bring it in brief spurts but her baseline is so low.

He's naturally a master freeloader because that's his actual profession. The problem is he annoys the viewers and exclusively freeloads. There's no additional depth to him.

On the other side of the same coin you have Jobe, a master freeloader that compliments a variety of situations and thus is much more welcome to the audience and fish.

I don't like Jeff but he's not out of place.

I think Burt is actually a switch and is very attracted to Frank because he knows Frank could top the ever-loving shit out of him. He may rarely, rarely ever be in the submissive role but he's definitely here for it. Kink shit is complex. The idea that he'd been lowered like that in front of everyone is probably a HUGE part of it too, he's having a GREAT time with it.

Don't feel bad for Burt. This is ONE big scene between him and Frank. If something else is going on, he can work that out with a clinician in a mental health environment later. The other stuff, like the LARPing with magic and stuff outside, is a little more questionable with a schizophrenic. Burt is RACK-informed (risk-aware consensual kink). That motherfucker knows what's up. Frank isn't queerbaiting him, Burt doesn't care if people are queer or not, it's an inward journey for him and he's excited about all this shit.
 
Anyone else feeling the weird gay tension between Jeff and Burt? Like how he keeps saying he's a big beautiful black man?
It's a gay show.
