With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

  • 1 Star — Absolute disaster. Unwatchable, boring, production fucked it up bad, the fish were lame

My favorite memory is when Letty turned on the washer with Jon's bible in it and going upstairs to say a prayer afterward, leading to Jon throwing the pulp remains all over Letty during the cleaning challenge. Letty didn't even budge and Jon was completely maulding. There's been many moments that surpassed it in Fishtank in terms of craziness sure, but at the time this was incredible to me.

The Letty bible thing was crazy. I remember people using that as "evidence" she really was evil but she was literally coached by production to do it. They took her into the basement and told her to ruin the bible. She even said no several times before they get her to do it.

I don't recall them taking her to the basement. I remember Ben going up there and telling Letty to look in the washer, she did and saw Jon's Bible in it, then Ben came back and convinced her to turn it on with the bible in it. She didn't want to do it but she knew it was necessary.

I might totally be misremembering the basement part but I know she did not want to do it, told them no several times and was then essentially coerced into doing it to further the "Letty is evil" plot/character arc.
