With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

  • 1 Star — Absolute disaster. Unwatchable, boring, production fucked it up bad, the fish were lame

  • 2 Stars — Pretty bad. Some funny moments, dragged, too many vibe repair days. Barely worth checking.

Voting is bad, but letting the fish influence the show kept them engaged even when the season went off the rails. If stuff like Chris Points was run legitimately there probably would have been more engagement in the final 5 days of S2. Votekicking targets active fish, but rigging 100% of the show equally crushes the spirit out of the show.

She only really did that when Alex's pig wife and lesbian stepdaughter came into the house and told everyone they wouldn't get paid and that the grand prize was only 5 thousand dollars.

I suppose I'm referring to two situations I'm sortof conflating into one. Specifically here, on day 13 when she was attempting to coerce Alexis and Laron to stay in the game along with Binx. And the next day, The Cell, when she was embracing "Life is Piggy, Oink Oink" when the TTS was heckling her. I think in both situations, she was acting commendable.

The past half hour has literally just been Binx talking about her Discord and plugging her various e-shops while Burt and Jeff sleep. This is unwatchable. I shit on season 2 a bunch but it never got this bad.

Burt and Luke are the best content, those on the .live site missed the best content in the last week of Burt packing up thinking he lost while Luke cleans and interacts with him.

The biggest L of the entire season was that he was kicked off too early and we missed weeks of Burt and Luke.
 
Fingers crossed that Burt, Jeff, Luke, Mizzy, and Sam are all resting up for a great night of fun. Last night in the RV was terrific.
 
i haven’t paid attention to live streaming since Ice Poseidon but don’t a tone of those knockoffs live in Las Vegas like whoever Og geezer is and that Yugoslavian guy with his whore wife? I wonder if they’re going to try to stream snipe
 
i was checking out what the cheese room reference was all about and it was just luke saying "nigga" to some tiny dude in a joking tone. the comments are full of normies psycho analyzing luke in order to figure out how evil he is on the dnd alignment chart for that.

Burt and Luke have some of the best comedic chemistry of any duo in Fishtank history. Luke is naturally funny and charismatic while Burt is accidentally hilarious and also very easily misled. This allows them to bounce off of each other really well. The combination is perfect. I'm struggling to think of any fish duos that compare... Letty and Tai maybe?
