They're walking through a restricted filming area; I'm guessing they're going under the canopy on Fremont Street. They may be staying at the Plaza. Fremont Street dead-ends at the Plaza hotel.
The Plaza has a bad reputation because the timeshare assholes rent out blocks of rooms for their victims, and they're always the cheapest, oldest rooms that need renovation. There are always renovations going on at one part or another of the Plaza, because it's huge. I love the Plaza; you can get a decent, low-priced room there if you book directly from the Plaza's site and not through Travelocity. Their regular rooms are clean and adequate. There were no bugs and very few stains any time I've stayed there. The bathroom is very cramped, but the water pressure is good. The Plaza is quiet compared to more rambunctious hotels that are either under the canopy (loud music) or geared towards the hard-partying crowd like the D. There's plenty of action on the casino floor though, so it's not a boring pkace to stay. The only bad thing about the Plaza is they give you these shitty travel-sized pillows instead of normal pillows, wtf? Hopefully they've changed that since the last time I went (pre-Covid).
The best thing about the Plaza is it's right next door to the Greyhound station, so you can get drunk af on the bus if you're surreptitious about it, roll right next door when you get there, and check in. This is provided you can make it in 1 day from your location by bus, because nobody wants to spend more than 1 day on a bus. 10/10 would do this again.
