Official KF Fishtank livechat here!

With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

  • 1 Star — Absolute disaster. Unwatchable, boring, production fucked it up bad, the fish were lame

    Votes: 56 7.3%
  • 2 Stars — Pretty bad. Some funny moments, dragged, too many vibe repair days. Barely worth checking.

    Votes: 87 11.4%
  • 3 Stars — Average. Solid entertainment in spots, some good chaos and crashouts, but nothing special

    Votes: 169 22.1%
  • 4 Stars — Really good. Lots of hilarious moments, strong fish personalities, solid content and vibes

    Votes: 405 53.0%
  • 5 Stars — Peak Fishtank / Masterpiece. Non-stop insanity, legendary fish and production, pure chaos

    Votes: 47 6.2%

  • Total voters

It's not that hard to understand. They vote for people they don't like, then the audience votes to save who we like.

You say democracy is fake and gay, but then you want them to rig challenges in favor of the most liked contestants. You're going the long way to end up back where you were.
You missed the very explicit point: I want fish too retarded to comprehend that simple voting mechanic.

What I'm getting from this is that they plan very little in advance ( e.g. having no idea what to do at the start of season 2), and that when they do plan something that doesn't work out how they expect ( e.g. the failed plant angle in season 2, Alex leaving, famous house 2.0) they just sort of give up. I'm amazed that the show isn't even more of a clusterfuck and still manages to be better than 99% of the slop on tv.
Okay but watching those mfs live at like 1am whispering about something while every person, one at a time, starts laughing and i realized what was going on it was the most kino shit ever. I already had suspicions about a few of them but I didn't think almost everyone knew.

On their discussion about the voting system; there's multiple ways to fix it.
  • You could have the fish nominate 3 people (top three people with most votes), but have audience decide on the elimination. You get the benefit of people "playing the game", but not the downside of interesting people getting the boot (as long as the audience doesn't go full retard).
  • You can also have vote-to-save instead of vote-to-kick, which changes the dynamic.
  • Instead of 1 fish getting 1 vote, you can give them 3 point votes (2 points for their bigger threat, 1 point for the lesser threat), which further changes the dynamic.
  • You can even ban the discussion of voting completely, only let them discuss who they are voting for in the voting room (this has positives and negatives).
You can use all or any combination of these to make it so voting doesn't eliminate the most interesting people.
It’s not fucking big brother. No votes. Period.

The Wiggers are the ones who made it like Big Brother. They want Edgy Big Brother, with blackjack and literal hookers.

That's what they were aiming for with Famous House. They won't get rid of voting, they'll just fuck around with it a bit so they can force the results they want.

We are hours from the show ending and Burt is still pulling out complete plot twists without even trying. What you can even say at this point? The dude was made for Fishtank. They will never find someone this good again.
