You guys are seriously coping. Several articles explicitly cite it as a 4chan controversy. There are several archived threads. Of course Sam knew.

But as soon as the obvious is made apparent, nobody asked and nobody cares
you only brought evidence of Sam acknowledging something from Desmond is Amazing who was the most prominent child drag queen at the time. This Lactatia kid is way less known, Brandon is even less likely to leave a lasting impression on people.
if we know one thing of production is that they don't really do their due diligence (just look at the BTS of th S2)... so why would you expect them to care about the extras they need in flexible for a few days? this time around they got a lot of them through backstage (posted from Alex Schultz's production company [ted's listing?] [connor's?]) so I presume those are supposed to be a bit more serious from the get go than people you get from craigslist anyways.
expecting sam to stand up to brandon seems like a silly expectation. the show isn't about him and not wanting anything to do with Brandon is a perfectly valid conclusion.

random good news I just read: https://www.threads.net/@brandonhilton/post/DGHf0kVRwpR

Honestly can't help but feel tired of the Brandon mentions, the faggot doesn't deserve the attention he's gotten out of being on the show. Both in Sam's case and people talking about him since, it feels like standing on a soapbox and going "guys, look, I'm morally superior to someone who wants to transition children!!", as if that's a bar that requires any sort of effort to cross.

Thinking about how Simbal/Jeet fell under literally every negative Indian stereotype ever. We talk about how Burt and Alex were so perfect they didn’t seem real, but Simbal was the perfect villain. He was Indian, you can’t top that. I wish they gaslit him more and he went out in a more cathartic way.

Edit: I say all this because I keep seeing the phrase “HOW CAN HE XYZ???” Outside of Fishtank spaces. It’s his greatest contribution to society.

I agree his exit could have been better but I did think it was funny just how little convincing it took for nearly everyone to vote him out. Even after Luke had a target on his back it was nearly unanimous for Simbal. All Binx had to do was pull the "He's creepy." card and every new fish just looked at him and thought "Well he's Indian so yeah that checks out." and that was that.

I don't think they have a good reason to not cast at least 1 Indian per Fishtank season from now on. Living with an Indian guy is a challenge by itself. They'll never win, because the audience hates them.

I try to give credit to Simbal any chance I get because I agree, he's super underrated. I would say Simbal is definitely in my top 5 favorite fish so far. He's super funny (unintentionally) and I'm still pissed Simbal wasn't in the RV trip because he would've been such an improvement over Binx making the whole show unwatchable constantly during that time. Imagine Simbal taking part in the ask random people for money challenge, it would've been pure gold.

"How can he xyz" is actually from this video called "HOW CAN SHE SLAP?" That's what made it so funny that Simbal unknowingly quoted an Indian meme and said it on the show. And I relate to you on hearing that phrase and thinking of Simbal. The other day my Indian coworker said "do the needful" and I had to mute my microphone because I was laughing so hard.

Simbal should have been in the final 3 with Burt and Mizzy. He was a fierce competitor and a perfect antagonist for the show. Letting him get voted off was a huge mistake and another case of production shooting themselves in the foot for no reason. They literally could have just ignored the votes. The "rules" can change at anytime for any reason.

It would've been better if Simbal was in the finale instead of Payton but Binx immediately taking him out after weeks of immunity was really funny, she was dead set on enacting Total Poo Death.

If the jeet was in the finale, he would've won or fought Burt to the death for the win.

To be fair, them gambling the $50k away for a bit would probably still be there, so it's not like he'd win anything extra. If anything, if Burt were to rage like he did when production said Binx won Famous House and Simbal were to jeetrage because of the gamble, that's 2 spergouts for the price of one.
