oK, im dumb as hell, and ive never tuned into Fishtank while live. Are all these livestreams right now in separate places for contestants hoping to be on the next season?
Yeah, I guess they are guaging for whoever the audience vibes with the best and who is the most charasmatic. I watched a few streams, mostly people spazzing out because that's what they think Sam Hyde and crew will like.
Yeah Stream Stars has fully convinced me that fans as contestants is just a bad idea altogether. Way too much try-hard bullshit. Has none of the charm of fishtank with an unsuspecting cast of regular people put in a hard situation.
Imagining a full season with these retards sperging out and trying to out-mogg each other/production with aimless racial diatribes and needless, overplayed, destruction to prove that THEY are the most based and redpilled to the audience is a grim thought.

More like paypigs as contestants is a bad idea. Most of the S2 casts, who are majority fans, don't even pay or subscribe to Sam and Fishtank, let alone have the capability to stream like them.

I think their main reason for doing it is because of the difficulty of keeping up the act from auditions all the way to the reveal, mixed with so many fans trying to squeeze themselves in. They bungled a bunch of it in S3 but just barely kept it together enough to make it to day 13. Also, the original concept for Hell House was about making MDE fans do a bunch of stupid shit.
...that being said, season 3 was one of the craziest, most engaging things I've ever seen. I was glued to the site up until the RV, but I still watched what I could of that. There's no denying it is absolutely the most risky, but with lessons learned from season 3 it should be much easier to pull off a second time. They'd be silly not to at least consider it for season 5.
Saw someone with this Jon season 2.5 avatar in a different thread on here and I instantly was reminiscing on how fun that half season was. I would love for them to do something like 2.5 again this summer or late spring

I like Jet's original idea of waiting until s4 is done and doing 4.5 instead of 3.5. It would give them a bigger cast pool to pick from instead of just using s3 people and then filling the rest with people we've already seen on the show over and over again. Obviously Burt will return for the next .5 season and Jet wants Alex B in on it to other than that though I just want Mizzy and Luke to return and see whoever they have left in s4 to fill the remaining cast slots. Simbal would be good to return as well but I doubt Simbal is going to work with Sam again. Jobe would also be great for 4.5 but I assume he would be in a sodaman type role instead of being an active participant.
The elephant in the room is the fact that they will 100% bring Binx back for 4.5 and that will 100% kill any interest I have in it. We all know it will happen.

I think Streamstars is gonna end up being casting not for fish but for freeloaders. People who create chaos for attention and desperately want to fuck with people. The problem is they are alone in a room, not with other people.

Burt finally got to play his dream role of a nice guy who's actually a total creepy rapist.
Now it's karaoke time feat. Gold Burt.
Greg is cracking hard on the couch and it looks like Frank is giving him a break.
