You see, the joke is that in the first week or so of season one the challenges were so simple and light-hearted that, get this, the silly Fishtank fans on /tv/ started posting pictures of the famous Batman character, the Joker, mock-quoting him. Such quotes would center on the supposed difficulties advertised by a show labeled “hell house” contrasted with the exceptionally easy challenges and good treatment the Fish were being exposed to instead. The joke centers on the fact that audience expectations were being subverted, as they were advertised an extreme torture experience, but instead the environment the Fish were being exposed to was similar to that of a relatively cheap vacation where all their needs were taken care of. Since then, Joker-posting as it is usually referred to by the FT community, has remained a staple meme of season one and is sometimes referenced back to in subsequent seasons, especially when content begins to dry up and the audience becomes bored.

On Sam’s Wikipedia page they used to have his nicknames listed, and all of the Fishtank aliases he used were there, including the long ass 2.5 vampire name.
I just watched the Any % speed run cut with the wife who got into Fishtank with Season 3. I've never bought a season pass, but if they did a DLC surcharge for Bloodgames 2 I'd pay $20-30 to try and support it, it really was a good time.
