Very good point. Binx was at her best with Alex because it provided her with some kind of purpose. It's amazing how quickly a season can collapse in on itself with the removal of one Fish at the center of the social web. So many layers get removed.

The Letty comparison was also great, of course the difference being that Letty actually stepped up when she was needed to carry the show. Binx? not so much. Not every Fish can be a home run hitter, but they can still be really valuable by providing a good contrast or being an influence for content. Sometimes you need a Vance or a Tayleigh to keep things grounded.

Honestly I'd count this against her lol. I wish we had Simbal because that last week and a half needed some antagonist energy or at least a punching bag.

In hindsight, I think it's pretty clear that the biggest mistake was pushing Alex out. Burt was content, but he wasn't the center of social web like Alex was. When Alex left, the remaining contestants really had no glue left. The Binx/Alex thing could have been super hilarious if they made her play along through FH 2.0. Even the Simbal/Binx thing felt somewhat empty because Alex wasn't there to stoke the flames. I hope they learn that the web is the thing that keeps reality shows interesting, and should really only be allowed to dissipate by the final 2, if at all.

The call Jet put out would suggest this happening in Summer again (even though last time they were struggling with the heat...). He also said he'd teach people so it's suggested he'd be around.

Wigger schedules work around everyone being eunemployed so it could still be possible that they're gonna cram in S4 before this...

He seems to think that Fishtank is some vector to positively change his life. I think that has come up among other Streamstars too, this sad desperation.
Hanging so much on Fishtank is real bad, frankly avoiding putting people who are destitute on the show should be standard procedure for fishnet inc. I can't imagine dealing with cast who are hanging their last hope on Fishtank, either while the show is running or in the aftermath.

With my limited exposure to all this I also know of a call mints had with Vecmen. Where Vecmen talks about his idolization of Jimmy, fuckin Jimmy is an aspirational figure to this guy.

I mean, these people being fucked is given, no real surprise. I think some of them would probably be fine as cast actually so I don't really know why they would throw it all out but I guess it is simpler. I would think it is obvious that things like the points and overall dedication do not add up to being invited on and that if anyone did get in it would be some abstract vibe-check when Jet watched someone for 20 minutes or AB sent a clip to Ben, whatever. Also it probably looks real bad when all the site mods have been messing with these Streamstars, dangling Fishtank in front of them to make them do challenges for points that dont matter and then once shit hits the fan and participants get upset it is "What did you expect, its Fishtank, suck it up idiot". it is a bit questionable ethically I guess, not to be gay about it. In the end these people trusted Jet and what did they really think was going to happen.

The blatant scamming from Jet and company is just poorly hidden, such as wearing a different pair of balenciagas every day before not paying Burt his prize money.

This is especially strange since going onto Fishtank will almost always be a net negative. First of all, the only relatively successful people from the show have been women who could cultivate (whether intentionally or unintentionally) a simp army. If you’re a guy the odds you get some semblance of post-show success is practically zero. You’re putting yourself out in public to be hyper-analyzed by others who view your life as a comedy. It’s a retarded idea.

Even if you’re a chick and get some kind of fanbase you better hope and pray you don’t piss them off by breathing at another dude. Even the pillar of Fishtank success that is Josie was only capable of becoming a mediocre streamer, and her original popularity faded fast. Being supported by paypigs whose life mission is to stalk you is no life to live.

I keep seeing doom and gloom about the cast but at this point everybody is just imagining a possible future cast based on a limited amount of information (and NO confirmations) and getting upset over this imaginary bad cast. We'll know whether it's a good cast within the first 24 hours, then regardless of whether it's a good cast or not production will ruin the show as usual.

I think its more that the whole process has been a shitshow, and its hard not to be a doomer when you've seen how bad the applicants are, and how they're all trying to do bits off the bat.

I think ill go through the effort and pull some clips out, but tonight was a treasure trove of content in the Letty and Ice Poseidon crossover universe, here's the highlights. This one night was 5x better than all of ADL.

• It starts with Letty going out to a bar with a Korean girl she made friends with, and someone invites all the other ip2 retards against Letty's wishes, and she openly says she does not want ice to come to the bar, since he is in a very bad mood that day and spent almost 20 hours in bed griping and complaining about having to stream for 100 days for millions of dollars.
• Ice piss hears this from his chat before he arrives at the bar, and as soon as he shows up begins making a scene and disrupting Letty however he can. They spend most of an hour doing casual banter that goes both ways, and seem to be having a good time even though they are going back and forth with one another. A lot of alcohol is consumed during this by all parties.
• In the lead up to this and in the back round of everything as it plays out over the night, Ice and another IP2 streamer Chicken Andy (Women beater, former meth head, guy who Andy dick raped) are talking about how Chicken has a serious chance of hooking up with Letty, both joke about this, and Ice talks about how easy it is to manipulate Letty and how easy it would be for chicken to have sex with her. As a side note during all of this Letty's new ex boyfriend, who broke up with her 1 week before she came to Korea (so two weeks ago) has been messaging Letty multiple times during the day, and more than once she gets a call from him and does not answer it, and spends alot of time texting someone. She tells chicken Andy this in confidence and he leaks it while drunk.
• Letty takes issue with some of the things ice says to her, like about how she loves him hating on her and he sees through her and all that, so she goes off to the bar to be away from him but over another half hour he continuesly badgers her and she repeatedly tells him to let off and that she does not like the way he talks to her
• Ice tells his stream Letty is dumb and easy to manipulate, and then proceeds to sit Letty down for a 1 on one talk and apologizes to her, makes a point to turn off TTS and makes a big deal of being honest in front of his chat, and says that he didn't mean to upset her and he respects her, and that since she is a friend of his GF he considers her a friend of his (Letty made out with his GF at a Halloween party). Once Letty walks off after the apologies he calls her stupid to his chat and brags how easy she is to manipulate, and pulls chicken over to tell him how easy it would be for him to fuck Letty tonight.
• They all get up and go to a second bar that Letty's friend who is obviously uncomfortable leaves to go to, and of course the entire wack pack follows. At this bar, Ice continues to bother Letty, and insists that if she didnt love the attention and ice being a dick to her, then she would just leave. Letty proceeds to leave without saying anything, and this seems to set Ice back as i dont think he thought he was overstepping any boundires or going too far (he's very drunk at this point, having had 4-5 "motherfucker" shots that are very strong)
• Letty streams for awhile after this while looking for a bar by herself, and during this is sent several clips of Ice and Andy talking about her as if she is a sex object to be used and passed around and disposed of. She obviously takes extreme issue with this and shits on Ice and Andy, and eventually her phone dies and she goes offline.
• Ice attempts to locate her after a few minutes but is drunk and unable to find her, and sits on the side of the road while his GF texts him saying she is considering breaking up with him because of his actions towards her friend Letty, and sits for a long time and just seethes and avoids the camera and lets his wack pack entertain his audience while this goes on.
• Ice decides that he has had enough for the night, and heads back to their van and most of the wack pack load in, and as they drive off they discover they one of their tires has been slashed and is flat. Ice blames letty for this, and we get several incredible edits of this pop up on his stream from donators while he sits and continues to text his GF and ignores almost all TTS messages sent to him. He is very down at this point. Ice repeats that letty was the only one with a motive to slash the tire and she was off stream when it happened so it had to be her, and says he is going to go back to where they where parked to get CCTV footage to prove it was her. Letty did not drive to the bar with him in the van, and had no idea where it was parked so its unlikely it was her, and was probably some pissed locals since they where causing a huge scene out on the street during this whole night by being drunk peices of shit.

Spoiler: Letty the stabber

• While Ice is dealing with his flat tire, Letty shows back up on chicken Andys stream, and shes fired up. It turns out she went to a bar to charge her phone, and ran into two british gentlemen, who she regales with her tale of the night and being objectified by chicken Andy, and this upsets the two brits so much that they track chicken Andy down, and threaten to beat the shit out of him, and tell him to meet them out on the street so they can fight him. Letty shows back up to stop the brits, and confronts chicken with the video of him and ice talking about how easy it would be for him to fuck her, and he gives a what i think is sincere apology to her, as hes very clearly had a crush on her since he met her, and honestly tried to minimize what ice piss was saying about her, and agrees with letty that what he did was wrong. later on in the night the tension between the two seems to be lesser than it was but she is still somewhat mad at him.
• While Letty and Chicken Andy are talking, a Turkish loser/ice piss stream sniper bottom feeder, repeatedly interrupts them talking, and refuses to leave them alone. this leads to them all heading outside, and after arguing for a good while, they do what no kick streamer should do, or what a foreigner in Korea should do, and start throwing punches at one another while all the streamers nearby all avert their streams as to not break TOS and get banned off of kick. Its unknown who really won the fight, but its generally agreed that the Turk started it, and at the end when he comes back into view of the streams he has a cut accross his forehead. Chicken Andy walks off realizing he is in deep trouble because of this.
• The turk roach calls the cops, and this causes all the streamers to run away from him. The Turk gives the cops all of the streamers in the city's kick channel info to the police, tells them that chicken Andy and Ice are both friends of Johnny Somali, and the location of everyones hotel's so that the cops can question everyone. At one point chicken andy shows up and tells letty and floridaboy, who are chilling in a karaoke bar private room, that he cannot return to his hotel, and that he is going to sleep in a bush, and maybe makes a comment about getting to thailand somehow (they are on an island lmfao)
• Ice piss, after having returned to his hotel room, seethes about letty, makes many threats against his now it appears to be EX GF and calls her a whore, and that her only value as a women is in her vagina and 50 other insults. He then claims that letty masterminded this whole situation, and trys to turn kimmy against letty, and kimmy begins leaking messages. He also claims that letty tried to kiss him and has been hitting on him for the last couple of days, even though letty had not streamed with him for almost 2 days and had taken an entire day off during that time period.
• While Ice piss is in the lowest of lows, letty is vibing hard in a karaoke bar and having a blast with all the chaos she has sown. Letty once again has proven she is the GOAT.
• As i was writing this up, Ice piss has begun hardcore suicide baiting on his stream. I dont watch him enough to know if thats a common thing of his or out of charecter for him.

Bonus alpaca from lettys trip to a ranch today

Ices now 4x Ex Girlfriend is now threatening to leak DM's and texts between them and this has ice crashing out hard. How letty does it, i will never know.

I cannot bring myself to care about this pre-season "casting" at all. Everything I've seen about Streamstars and the IRL casting makes it look like a total disaster (except for that one guy, was it Dingus?) and not in a kino way.

IMO S2 only (barely) pulled off having a cast of fans because for the first week both the cast and the viewers didn't know they were fans and we got to know the fish as people rather than MDE fans acting like performative faggots destroying shit and Markyposting as much as possible. For me, right now is probably the least interested in Fishtank I've been since I first learned of the show and if they actually end up using any of the people desperate enough to show up to IRL auditions it's going to suck.

I also really hope they aren't planning on doing a S3.5 (or whatever mini-season) before S4. Having recurring cast members is fine once every two seasons so that you have time to miss them, but running it back immediately with the same cast after a season which was in the absolute doldrums by the end does not sound appealing in the slightest. I am seriously Burt fatigued at this point.

I tuned out because there were like 40 fucking people or some shit. Sorry but its impossible to follow. It's an interesting concept/idea but it really doesn't work well.

It could be kind of funny, if they would cast a few people that have no idea what fishtank is and basically repeat the start of season 2 with the audience being in on it. This might keep the super-fan cast from being to annoying early on.

I take it as him saying 100% of the stream people are washouts. I believed all along that the streaming stuff was just a money making ploy for the real casting process and that it was just meant as a distraction for the fans by making them jump through hoops while they do the casting using an agency or backstage. If you go hunting I bet you would find recognizable listings for a show some time late Spring early Summer time on these venues.
