Immediately it catches notice that Season 3 towers over the others, even during the RV arc when viewership on the site was between 1000-2000. My suspicion is that "freshness" of the data being scraped matters here and that the Season 1 and 2 tweets being over a year old aren't populating to the feed as effectively as Season 3. That is, the tweets exist if you trawled someone's timeline, they posted to the fishtank hashtags but its not showing up on the timeline for some reason I can't determine. Huge sections of data were just not accessible like day 5 and 7 for season 2, both days were somewhat important as Day 5 saw both Summer and JC leave and the gator squats, and Day 7 saw Fatty arrive as Santa, Jimmy's Doll activity at 3-5am then his freakout during the hogtying and CK's arrival.

When you look at how the seasons showcase on 4chan which has perfect data retention it showcases the same form for each season, all the spikes and valleys match Twitter but Season 3 is actually below or merely neck and neck with the other seasons except for when it pops such as the Brandon/FH2 day 1 fiasco.

Originally the goal of the project was to count how many users were on the hashtag and see if the community was growing or not, my belief is that fishtank peaked with Season 2 and the community has become more insular, the loudmouths being louder and more frenzied but overall the casuals that were around for Season 1 disappeared over time and replacements were minimal. The huge amount of jeet spam and inconsistency in data populating to the hashtag has made this impossible to have any certainty. I ended up removing over 100k rows worth of spam from Season 3, often times by hand since the stock/crypto bots didn't add in twenty hashtags like the jeet spammers, I had to search for stupid strings that were part of the spam like "JEFF PUNCHES GLASS" or "Mainz Biomed about to go to the moon!" The cleaned and deduped csv is in each folder and the raws included as well. The scraper would be inconsistent and sometimes run for 30k before the thing crapped out and other times 2-3k tweets before the timeline just suddenly ended, if it ended at 6am on a day -- well you're restarting from the beginning of the day since the scraper goes backwards in time from day 42 to day 1, so deduping is required when all the raw csv, fortunately each tweet has a unique identifier in the last column so this is "easy" to do, though excel wont allow you to dedupe 400-500k rows at once so splitting it across multiple sheets and doing it is required. Season 2 raws are fucked because several are saved in UTF-7 so you have to copy/paste each spreadsheet to a fresh UTF-8 one then save it. This scraping took me over a full week running 24/7 so I'm not going to do it for Bloodgames-Cell-Bitchtank because I suspect that the data will be inconsistent just like S1/S2.

I was going to do a graph showcasing Letty, Josie, TJ, Shinji, Tayleigh, Burt and Binx to compare how they showcase against each other but the data isn't sound so its not worth doing.

I don't think the other contestants viewed him favorably, but she definitely dragged their perceptions of him down and continually tried to steer elimination discourse towards getting him axed. The anti-Simbal sentiment Binx continually sewed resulted in Simbal willingly embracing his villain arc, IMO, which was pretty great.

I don't know. Like I said, it's more about having a balance of those that produce content, those that drive it, and straight men to both ground and elevate the insanity. Basically, you need a Jon, a Letty, and a Vance.

You can't have a house full of Jons, Jimmys, and Alexs. It would be absolutely unwatchable, and they'd all walk out about day 3. Similarly, a house full of Vances, Binxs, and Paytons would be boring as fuck.

I think she's an all right person, but the only contestant I felt was almost a total waste in S3 was Payton. She had a few moments towards the end, and the Paymaker, but 90% of S3 she could have been replaced with a can of Zipp and the show would have been functionally indifferent.
