I'd wager that they undo this at some point, paywalling off 50% of the season will not go well for them. Everyone will just use restreamers.

EDIT: Jet has clarified on twitter that only the ability to select cams will be taken away from 10pm-10am for non season pass holders, and that they will still be able to view the director cam

I would agree but I mean they already paywalled like 30% of the cameras in previous seasons so if that didn't kill it then idk. Also the youtube director cam very rarely ran as late as 10PM to begin with so I wouldn't assume that will be affected.

Making the price $10 a month is a huge improvement imo and I'd be fine with pay walling the camera selection at night if the director's stream isn't complete shit.

Worst case scenario is that they are going to take the time off at 10PM and leave director mode stuck on one camera (or switching between cameras on a timer) and they will continue operating director mode at 10AM. That would really suck, but if they actually operate director's mode properly at night then I think this might be a fair arrangement. It's worth the experiment anyway, if it keeps the wiggers on a schedule and not drained of energy through the whole season (doubtful).

Yeah, I was going, oh presumably theyve figured out (what everyone else already knew since S1 I guess), that all the interesting, funny, clipable stuff happens after 10.

They (like half of them) sleep until like 10 am, then mill around calm and/or hungover for a bit until like 3, when someone will show up and they try to round them all up and wait for other people to get there, they do one challenge at like 4 or 5 that doesnt matter, then hang out more until 8 when they start getting them drunk, and THEN after a while the funny, interesting drama stuff starts to happen and they stay up until like 3 am.

I mean I get it I guess its okay if its only the ability to choose cameras, too, but they know whats up though.
