With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

  • 1 Star — Absolute disaster. Unwatchable, boring, production fucked it up bad, the fish were lame

You know it's a good cast because there's nobody who if they won would ruin the ending, except Rachel, who obviously won't win. Everyone actually tries and has a possible victory arc and some degree of likability.

No Mauros. Even Aryeh, who lays around a lot in a Mauro-like fashion, is just doing it to save up all his energy to fuck with people.

for anyone catching up they just gave rachel an ultimatum that they arent begging her to stay anymore, if she wants to leave she can leave, and if she bangs her head into the wall again shes out
shes mentally ill and thinks they need to pay her in person (in cash? a check?) and doesnt understand if she wants to leave she can walk out. but she is scared if she does she wont get paid.

Seth bitching about Freddy not getting kicked now, because he would've been if he did it. Well yeah, the most interesting thing about you is you were scared you'd get a boner wrestling so you quit when they made you wear a unitard.

Seth sucks. I think that they only brought him on to glaze production after Jin hurt Jet’s ego. Seth got so red in the confessional with Sam and tried to impress him by talking about gore videos like a middle schooler. Seth is just a dime a dozen Sam Hyde superfan.

The difference between the contestants that production had time to vet (all the original contestants except Ellie) and the ones they brought on in a panic (Ellie and Seth) is drastic. I looked through some of Ellie’s mutuals on Instagram. It’s basically what you’d expect for a high schooler from California: about half of her IRL associates I looked at were some sort of LGBT. The funniest mutual I saw was sundragonsuits, a “fursuit maker since 2017.” Ellie is quiet because she has nothing to say.
