With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

  • 1 Star — Absolute disaster. Unwatchable, boring, production fucked it up bad, the fish were lame

Yeah. I can't really understand production's logic. But they can prop thing ups by introducing freeloaders or new fish or something.

Or hopefully they have some kind of wacky twist that is coming. But it's been what? like a single week and 3 people are out?

The shit they do sometimes just makes no sense, man. Like for the season 3 final 3 they didn't even remotely pretend it was a competition at all. Then you have stuff like tonight where there are two people are boring as shit and never do anything at all but wiggers decide its time to make it a fair challenge.

I don't understand having eliminations early when there's so few contestants, and two people left already. One of them got a replacement and the other wasn't really like a real contestant, but you're still down one net total. If somebody quits, elimination challenges should be pushed back to the next week just to keep the numbers consistent, otherwise there's stack eliminations the end weeks aren't going to have enough fish.
Maybe the Neptunian week 2 twist is coming and it becomes blood games or something but I doubt it.

To be fair, S3 went off the rails with FH2.0 failing and the RV/Vegas arc so it already felt like Fishtank was over and the last two weeks was like a bonus post-show special. S4 is still "on rails" so to speak, so they feel like they have to have real challenges again.
Payton eating the elimination candy was scripted and/or staged as well, they were driving through Texas and she was getting dropped off nearby to her home (she lives somewhere near Tyler, Texas IIRC), she revealed it on her post-show instagram live. The stream cut out when Binx left, but it was probably pretty similar.
If you rig it too hard or too obvious, then it makes fish not want to compete or put in effort if they think production is just going to decide the outcome.
 
I was watching the living room camera and I heard freddy yell "I NEEED HELP!" from upstairs. so i switched around the cameras to find him but he wasnt in any of them. then I was watching B1 and he comes out of the shower in his underwear and he was like "Ah fuck! I forgot a TOWEL"

I think nick says a lot of correct things, but he says a LOT of stupid shit as well. he flip-flops on trump, is completely anti israel (which I get but is also unrealistic), and he hates sports, and that I can not accept.

Nick is on record saying he wants to marry and impregnant a 15 year old in his 30s because they are "more fertile" but it's his flip flopping on Trump that bothers you?
 
Don't know what the wider MDE fans think of Chris Lynch, he seems like a nice guy but he's easily the dumbest person sitting in that room.
