With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

  • 1 Star — Absolute disaster. Unwatchable, boring, production fucked it up bad, the fish were lame

Here in New England isn't like any other part of the country. Sure there's spatterings of niggers and spanish kids and depending on where you are some of the absolute worst leftoids and kikes imaginable but for the most part it's a wonderful place to be White, especially the rural parts. Everything you need is also reletively close together. 2 hours is a far drive unlike i guess everywhere else where that can be to the next major area that's mostly identical to the one you're coming from.
 
my reasoning for believing this is all one big gaslight:

  • i had a dream last night and it told me it was a gaslight
  • "week 2 is gonna have an INSANE TWIST, just wait"
  • sam's anemic performance, not having any special character, not even hitting pads with contestants this season so far
  • the site has NOTHING going on currently, no special "offline" screens, no streams from anyone outside the tank, no cash grabs, which would be to try and convince us that it Really Is OVER™
  • they lowered the season pass price from $60 to $10 so that most people wouldn't bother to file a chargeback
  • no direct evidence that "criminal charges" are being brought against the s1 house owner (we're generally good at finding shit like that)

(Pride one is interesting because the branding for S4 had a lot of stuff that looked like pride flags, specifically the pfp on Twitter)

the real question this theory begs is... who is Jay Polson? a fake person? an agent? we're going down a hole we might not want to...
 
I am fully of the belief that this is not a gaslight and Season 4 is in fact over.

But just to briefly add to the schizo theories anyway: I find it very odd that Daniel was wearing a fallout costume and Ben had his head shaved for this announcement. They had only been down for like 3 days. Maybe they did indeed plan to continue and it just got canceled last minute when they realized it wouldn't work. Also, all of the speeches seemed genuine except for Daniel's which seemed way more rehearsed than the others and it also seemed like he was acting, badly. It rubbed me the wrong way immediately. This can also just be attributed to the fact that he is autistic.
 
If, somehow, they are able to procure a very large soundstage somewhere, it would be feasible to do Bloodgames 2 indoors.
Trees can be made and hung from rafters (and moved around to change the forest layout day-to-day for adventure purposes), buildings do not have to be built to withstand weather. Lighting, cameras, audio, and most importantly network equipment can all be managed much more easily.
Fog machines could be used to great effect: haze most of the day, then heavy fog during spookier events. Lasers cut through fog in interesting ways and would make significant events look great. Fake flames look good in the dark.
On top of all that, contestants wouldn't wear out as quickly, no bugs (could be good or bad lol), noise complaints wouldn't matter, litter wouldn't matter, and injuries would be way less likely.
It would take a hell of a lot of labor but would make for a much tighter product. I've worked in the film industry before, none of this is new to me. Jet, if you're reading, I'll consult for free. Yes, Bloodgames 2 is that important to me lmao

My theory is Ben looked so pissed because he shaved his head for nothing (though tbf he looks pretty good with it shaved)

but for real, i think this season was planned last minute as a big fuck you, but I also don't think Sam's speech is dishonest.
they really were/are facing legal issues, they really did get swatted, some boomer jew really drove an hour to dunk on them on reddit and really got phonebook'd in record time - but the "conspiracy" is that it was always supposed to happen. it was inevitable, it happens every season and compounds their legal issues. the "plan" was put on a scuffed content house for a few weeks with fish that appealed to the worst aspects of the community (a lolcow tier giga-autist beyond human comprehension, TWO flavors of pedobait, a literal hooker, fat TTS machine, an incel, full raid gear degenerate) and wait for the inevitable to happen, hands-off, full rugpull Get Fucked when it does.

it wasn't scripted or planned meticulously, it was on-rails. jet probably worked very hard on BG2, ran into a Fuck You from the locality shutting it down, and they slapped this shitfest together last minute as an entertaining cashgrab and way to announce their true plans of getting a commercial location and running the show like an actual reality show like BB instead of a more structured content house.

I don't think theres more either, I just also don't believe this is all incompetency or whatever the commentary class is chirping about. There was clearly a plan going into S4 and it more or less worked out as intended. I believe this was all a set up to end the "Rhode Island/Massachusetts Era" of Fishtank
 
Didn't some guy claiming to be a leaker before the start of the season say that the point of the season is to take the piss out of the audience? How much of what he said ended up happening?
