With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

  • 1 Star — Absolute disaster. Unwatchable, boring, production fucked it up bad, the fish were lame

Reality game shows switch their hosts all the time, they very rarely survive from doing so. It almost always ends up getting the show cancelled because people stop caring really quickly. When The Apprentice changed hosts from Donald Trump to Arnold Schwarzenegger the show was cancelled almost immediately. When Fear Factor switched hosts from Joe Rogan to Ludacris the show was cancelled almost immediately. People lost interest in those shows extremely quick because the personality behind the hosts changed the whole vibe of the shows.

I know I sure as fuck don't watch this show for Jet Neptune, so if Sam left the show I would 100% lose all interest. Imagine watching Hell's Kitchen without Gordon Ramsey, it would be retarded to even consider such a thing.

The show really wouldn't be the same without Sam there. Even if you found someone else willing to say these things I don't know that it would come across the same.

this and a third of the cast walking within a week, with the rest of them unable to do something without mentioning 'production told me'. even if the wiggers got it right that shit wouldn't have worked with Jimmy constantly trying to derail the show every hissyfit and the rest of them unable to act by themselves.
this season was such a fresh air with how well the cast fucked with each other without production needing to coach them.

It's pretty common to migrate far distances, especially for work. America is huge as fuck but it's all under 1 flag so people can move pretty damn far a lot more conveniently than other parts of the world can

The reason most people think it is not over is due to the sheer level of incompetence displayed almost seems unbelievable.

Production playing coy with what is true has just opened up doubt and speculation.
I think in this case it is also that this outcome would have been deranged for even the worst doomposter to have predicted, barely 14 days of 42 is crazy. So cope is the other aspect. People were mentally prepared for 6 weeks, its shocking.

Something tells me that all the BTS photos appearing online and the finale "livestream" are all out of chronological order. Finale was prerecorded, they just told the fish to keep quiet until after they posted the finale video.

It would be an incredibly stupid business decision and ruin Sam's credibility probably forever, but it would be legendarily hilarious if they just bring the show back tomorrow with no announcement and act like nothing ever happened.

S2 fans do a revisionist history thing where they forget the show was probably meant to revolve around Cole, more or less, and after he sperged out they had to retcon it to the walking soulless husk that is lubecoochTJ
