this is something you either totally don't disclose or need to be totally transparent about.
like, if you're getting fucked with by retarded skids trying to rape your stream for teh lulz disclosing it at all will just make them excited you're giving them attention and keep doing it

but if you're getting fucked with by antifa, reddit karen types, or cops, it's better to just be open about it and be let the audience know what's going on since it's likely to have actual impact on the show beyond like, getting your site raped for an hour or caller shennanigans or whatever.
 
Jet really needs to learn about the Streisand effect, the more he bitches about people screwing with the show, the more people are gonna try to screw with the show. The worlds most obvious self fulfilling prophecy.

a LIVEU backpack with six network redundancies is like 2k and adding a mobile router to the mix is an extra rack at most

protip: nobody uses a mobile router, 4 shitty phones from the nigger shop over wired tethering and any capture card will do the trick just fine.
this is also why the vegas streams fucked me off so bad, you can basically rig together an IRL backpack with a trip to best buy.

I agree with Slackerblue on it being an indication that they don't understand why people like the show. The price is irrelevant. IRL Fishtank is not Fishtank, it's contrary to the entire theme.

They're surprisingly ignorant and bad at figuring things like that out in a hurry. The real problem with the Vegas streams is that they did it too haphazardly so it was unwatchable. Even if the tech issues get resolved, I hope it doesn't become a "thing" to take Fishtank on the road. It's hard to tell if Fishtank is slipping away from a unique concept of being a weird 24/7 stream house with a loose theme and direction into a generic stream where people are fucked with and that's all it is. That's a regression with novelty lost.

Leaving the house just shouldn't be a "thing" for a traditional season. Once the road trip ended, it was an IRL stream with Sam trying to get them to do zany stuff. Remove Sam and it's going to be even worse. Bottom of the barrel content chasing if they do.

Jet is influenced by Sam in this regard, Sam has repeatedly done this thing where he puts out a call on social media for someone to show him a turnkey solution and he doesn't care about money. He just finds whatever someone can convince him "just works" and buys it regardless of cost and he does NO research himself. Jet did the same thing with that streamer backpack.
 
Jimmy setting himself on fire just for fun is what makes him an S tier fish and separates him from the attention seekers we saw during the audition streams. He just kinda does shit for it's own sake and sometimes it's funny and sometimes it's cringe but it's nearly always memorable. He doesn't care if it's good content or not.
