something like that yeah, ice is a rare case of one of these internet-rich niggas who actually manages his money well.

he's a spastic that makes cringe content for teenagers but he's not actually that stupid, gets his money managed well and lives within his means.
some of these IRL people are just constantly broke now even though they made life-changing money in the early days of streaming, like burger planet who was basically andy milonakis-tier famous at one point and now rips nitrus balloons in thailand in-between yearlong bouts of sulking at his mother's house.

or blade, who's entirely fucked now when he was making more than basically any other IP2 streamer and can still go live and get retards to drop a band on him.

and we see jet and sam blow their cash on retarded shit really often. wouldn't be surprised if they never amount to anything beyond fishtank and run it into the ground.
genuinely hope s5 is good because if it's ass again then they're cooked lmao
 
I don't think an autistic streamer would be a good choice for the role of host. This is supposed to be the face of the show.
Ideally you want someone who can bring at least a little bit of the charisma and talent for showmanship that Sam had, think a small time comedian or washed up actor, maybe someone with a teensy bit of TV experience, who can elevate the show to something a little higher than "just a stream". You can probably find that "it" among strictly online personalities too, but Ice Poseidon isn't the guy.
Alternatively you can bring on a Fiverr Indian to reenact Goldstriker bits.

thats something i have wondered a few times, i don't think he is the problem, but i think he is more guilty than most realize, one thing i have noticed is that he is REALLY bad at staying at character or fooling people, he always gets tired of it eventually and that is usually one of the things that brings the show over to shit territory, the whole gym stuff is also really cringe too and definitely feels unprofessional

If we're spitballing host ideas I wouldn't be opposed to Keemstar. A lot of people forget that the Lolcow Live type format is what Keem's the worst at. His strengths are as a retard conductor like when he did IBS. LL doesn't make any money so it probably wouldn't take a lot to get him in. Keem's capable of scripting storylines, even if they're terrible it's better than what was attempted before.

Keem's friends with Chris and set up Sam's boxing match. Alex B was on an episode of one of his shows.

Unfortunately he'd try to shoehorn Boogie and his gaggle of retards. I can tolerate Boogie for a couple days especially if TTS is uncensored but KBAC and the other nobodies are content black holes.

I know he is bad at fooling people and gives up shticks easy because he gave up the Fallout act in the bunker after day 1 unless I'm mistaken

yeah but that is the least of the examples, i think the worst was bloodgames, the whole fucking point of it is larping and sam still somehown managed to break character and bring gym ware to the middle of the town so he could train and show the others how badass he is. Say what you will about jet and ben but i have never seen them break character by themselves, only when sam has already kicked the overtorn window to where nobody takes anything seriously anymore. pretty sure sam was the one who started slipping in S3 during the famous house part letting the fish known something was up.

I kinda give Sam a pass with the Duke since the whole premise of Bloodgames was kind of scuffed RP to begin with. Nobody was expecting everyone to adhere to their role and only Xavier kept it up the entire time.
Plus you could tell Sam was having fun in that role so it probably wasn't a chore for him to do it as opposed to some Goldstriker iterations.

breaking a character because its funny and not serious RP is one thing, what sam did felt more like he just didn't care about the show enough to even keep the ball rolling and not turn it into yet another fishtank fan hangout. its the same "low energy Sam" thing he did post the reveal in S2 and basically the entirety of S4

It was meant to be a parody of DarkRP servers, not a serious larp session. The whole point was for it to break down into infighting, halfassing the larp, people freaking out because their donut steel OC wasn't respected and counter larps to the other half of the server like the swords and spells vs airsoft shark group. Sam being a halfassed system admin/owner that just hangs out in the center of town socializing and doing token rp is entirely in character. Bloodgames was a perfect execution of what it was parodying even if the last few days were rocky from a production standpoint.

while i do see your point, i think this is a bit of a cope on this situation for why sam brings gym stuff everywhere he goes, S4 was like the first season where this didn't happen and it was also unsurprisingly, the first season where he was barely there at all
