With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

  • 1 Star — Absolute disaster. Unwatchable, boring, production fucked it up bad, the fish were lame

1. Burt - I’ve never seen a human being behave quite like him.
2. Letty - sh*t stirrer supreme. Ability to get under anyone’s skin.
3. Alex B - spergiest of the spergs. Easily manipulated. Ginormous wife.

Bloodgames was barely profitable because the viewership was low owing to the fact that it was barely advertised before going live and also a lot of the normie fishtank watchers were turned off by RP cringe (an acquired taste for sophisticated fishtank veterans). Also it was easily the highest effort thing they've done on the show from sets to crews, very expensive (another reason why it barely profited.) which is the real reason why they aren't itching to do another.

Based. But its Alex B, then Burt, then Letty for me. Though Burt is by far the most entertaining outside of fishtank. You didn't miss much from s2 and 4 in terms of good fish. Jimmy, Freddy, and Rachel are the only true standouts imo.

I feel I switch Letty and Burt now and again. Burt is fantastic and dominates the domain of isolated content in private better than any other fish. His sense of comedic timing is unmatched. But Alex is a titan in both social and private setting. You can give him a sentence and he’ll turn it into a 30 minute content-rich diatribe. Aware enough to understand entertaining the audience is important, retarded enough to be genuine in his actions and extremely easy to gaslight.

Letty is interesting because unlike the standard high-quality fish who is retarded and lacking in social inhibitions, she can turn hers off on a whim. A fish who is able to put morality aside for the greater good of the show is one that’s incredibly valuable. It was this trait that allowed her to step up when season one was at its lowest, become an antagonist, and restore a cohesive narrative. To date season one is the only season to avoid a catastrophic collapse, and it’s because of her.

That’s fair. He’s never off-brand, he’s always “in character” because his sperg outs are 100% him.

But Burt was simply amazing. He was a true content machine…even alone, in his bed, doing what he’s got to do. He didn’t seem quite human at times.

1. Burt - a fascinating, once in a lifetime individual
2. Alex B - the perfect lolcow, has extreme funny reactions to the most random shit, funny family
3. Jon - not as funny as the 2 above, but still up there, bizarre living parody of an eccentric manosphere autist
4. Letty - the only "serious" fishtank player that i really enjoyed, very funny and entertaining

Some simp named Consudo paid for Angelina's flight to wherever she's been partying at and was supposed to pay for the return flight. Apparently she rejected him so he canceled the ticket and didn't tell her.

well to be fair, it looked like the "twist" was about to occur before the boomers got the show shut down. i imagine they had the S2 house all decorated and some LARPing plans in mind according to the costumes they had for the fish. still not an excuse for them being cocky and allowing the legal problems to shut down the show in the first place.
 
If it actually happens March 15th with no delays and goes for the full 6 weeks that means it should end on the 26th of April.
For once that's actually not a bad window, no major holidays (save Easter) to take people away, Spring break usually around then for most, not bad.
