So.... sound stage? House? Dusty business park garage with a negligent methhead owner? Where do we think they've found space for s5?

Based on what we saw in the painting streams it's definitely a residential house again.

i like greg the most out of everyone
like as in, i'd actually grab a beer with the guy.

alex B and burt and those types are funnier contestants, but i wouldn't be caught dead hanging out with them lmao
Greg strikes the right balance by being likeable, eccentric and creative enough to watch by himself without being a complete psycho. Jimmy is up there too now that whatever meds he’s taking keep his anger issues in check,

Whats everyone's morale at going into season 5

I'm optimistic going into this season, not a fan of the shorter season personally, but willing to see how it plays out. Also dont really care that Sam is gone, he was never the reason i liked fishtank. Lets see if they can succeed without him.
I will consider this season a W for the wiggers if they actually complete the season without the show going down for longer than a few hours, and only 1 fish quits in the first week. Also less than say 5 days of filler downtime.

Makes sense. Kinda sucks because we can almost guarantee they're going to run into trouble again.
They won't if
a) They manage to not dox themselves like usually (this would be a problem even if they were in a warehouse/sound stage so it doesn't even matter)
b) If they are slightly more isolated like in s3. No boomer neighbors who could hear the noise and file a some complaint.

Also it seems to be a fans only season. What sunk s3 was Alex's family calling the cops and fans doing the same for Burt. It was all tolarated until Brandon got kicked out and overexaggerated his experience to the cops. Which was the straw that broke the camels back to them and they told them to get out. Probably won't happen to fans who know what they're getting into.

No one will need permits or shit like that if no one knows where they are or what they're doing. So far I don't even think the cops in Sandy Springs know who or where they are. Which is how it should be.

He was a big draw for me in Season 1. There was a lot of anticipation for the clock to hit 1600 or whatever and see what Sam would bring in. Less of a key player as the show has moved on, probably mostly due to Sam caring less, or becoming more distracted by side-projects.
I don't think Sam being gone is bad, its an opportunity for Jet and Ben ideally.

They won't if
The Only Way they won't run into trouble in a residence is if they did their fucking research and found a place with mixed-use zoning and got the correct permits.

I hope that's why this took so long because if we waited these months for them to just buy a house and paint some dentist office decor and build out some fun themed sets only for it to get fucked by John Boomer and the DoxKidZ I'm going to unironically be MATI.

We know how the internet works, retarded faggots are going to recognize some corner of the house and autistically comb thru zillow, then spam the address in chat because it makes their spaztik little wieners tingle, then some faggot karen who doesn't want Heckin Nazis pouring mayonaise on some retard in their precious suburb is gonna get on the phones and misrepresent everything they've seen in the livestream to elicit a police response. This is going to happen. It is unavoidable.

What's entirely avoidable is weather or not the cops give a fuck. If they have the proper permits and actually lawyer'd up and filed the damn paperwork that needs to be filed, they won't. If they're relying on security through obscurity they're fucked and we might get a week of content again before faggots rape the show stream.

They can simply take the listing down. It's pretty avoidable. If they hide one or more of the rooms they can also hide the shape of the house which people could find on land record maps.

At the end of day they might just order pizzas day 1 so this whole discussion is pointless lmao.

Jet and Ben already fucked up by doing that stupid subway meme video in public and leaving the weather location on on their computer. So now people already know the small suburb they're in.

I mean, even if they have perfect OPSEC it just takes one local uber eats guy or head shop worker to be like "yoooo jet neptune was ordering pizza and nangs to this address" and it's game over.

It's not perfectly airtight, but if they
  • get a sound stage or business park location
  • ensure no lighting is natural, the set is lit completely by studio lights (fun opportunities for messing with contestants)
  • get all the permitting done correctly beforehand
  • have a person or two who are never seen nor mentioned on the stream collect deliveries
  • put all deliveries in those employees' names (or fake names where possible)
  • never let the stream show even a glimpse outside of the building, or even too much outside of the set
  • ensure adequate enough soundproofing to eliminate 911 calls and ensure little outside noise is picked up on stream
  • never mention anything that could be cross referenced (weather, restaurants, drive distance, etc)
  • never allow any contestants to mention anything at all about the location pre-season or during the stream or else they'll be kicked
  • purchase furniture, props, clothes, or even food unique to local places
  • and lastly hide any and all digital traces like IPs and whatever else
They could very feasibly avoid the location being exposed. It sounds like a lot but it's really all common sense stuff.
None of this matters if the house is a residential house though. It's way too easy to match floorplans to neighborhoods, and any glimpses of the outside can be instantly figured out by geoguessr dudes.

jet flexing his Balenciaga Defender Sneakers at a Subway already exposed their general location, and Ben leaving the weather app open exposed their more specific location - so it's most likely a residence and the addy will be leaked quickly lmao

also the wiggers doing all that when they can just do bong rips in the basement and order from the local neighborhood sloppa joint? get reeeeeaaaal!

and i was foolishly planning to spend that time on such silly things as "studying"

i hope this season will not be such a shitfest as S4

I hope this season is a bigger shitfest than S4. I think it's the only hope to get content if it really is an All Jet season.

He's going to be overly involved on camera I'd guess. Ben I think can pull off acting as the host to an extent, but I imagine this season will be as much a shit show as S4. My biggest concern though is we'll have shitty fish like S4 had.

I still think saying Sam isn't the host is a gaslight. "Sam has never been the host, it's been a member of the Gold- family."

However I also wouldn't bet on it still being Sam.
