With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

  • 1 Star — Absolute disaster. Unwatchable, boring, production fucked it up bad, the fish were lame

  • 2 Stars — Pretty bad. Some funny moments, dragged, too many vibe repair days. Barely worth checking.

Agreed. I hate it, because they always end up dropping the ball trying to appeal to retards instead of just sticking to their guns. Even they didn't seem happy about it, since they were so passive aggressive when starting the cell ("this is what you want right?")
 
They're at the stage of the Cell where it's just dead time with no challenges, everyone's exhausted, TTS Bombing and they're trying to sleep on anything that's not covered in piss.
 
At 4AM the contestants were bickering about mini challenges coming up in the cell, so Production seized the opportunity and come up with an entirely arbitrary bullshit challenge on the spot.

Jet walks up with a plank of wood. He then sends Vance down to the basement to get multiple random items, one item at a time.

5 contestants remain in the cell at the time. Jet splits them into teams of... 2 and 3. He then says he needs to go down to the basement to get the last final item and will "be right back".

After a short while, Jet abruptly announces "GO" over the house PA and the contestants scramble frantically not knowing what to do. Their initiative kicks in and they start doing random things with the items that they have. After they exhaust their options and a brief pause, Vance walks in and unenthusiastically informs them that team Anissa & Landon won, because the opposing team had "removed the flag from the tree" (which no context was ever given prior to the challenge starting).

The prize is $4. Landon and Anissa split $2 each. Nobody was eliminated from the cell and there was no implication whatsoever on their placement in the overall competition.

Vid related, Jet using the saw at 4:20AM so that the wood could be divided between teams.

Sorry for asking this late, but is there any clips of this? Ive been looking for them, cant seem to find any. Did they verbally talk to each other, or was it just in DMs?

I don't think I've ever seen anyone think Edge's modern years have been his best, whether Judgement Day being mid, or AEW proving not every big performer knows what to do or should be trusted with creative control. It's probably safe to default to Rated R.

I hope James Drake won't betray Bashir and is just lying to the new bitch.
He kinda said he would leave when she would at the beginning (whispered to everyone) but I'm still kinda sad about it.
Also fuck wingers for moving the challenge during the cell instead of before it
