This is a good point actually. I'm all for content so I have no problem seeing Landon get pummeled by Ben. Landon also seem to be cool with it. So, why didn't they let Anisa and Beth fight in a safe environment with boxing gloves?
Ben can be not holding back but also not going full force at the same time, in fact that's exactly what he did (because he can't box). There was no wind-up in any of his punches and they did no real damage.
a lot of the "ermegerhd ben beat up landon!" type posts remind me of my emotionally incontinent grandmother, the type where their initial feeling about a thing is more important than any other details, including the ones that they literally witnessed as part of the thing they're reacting to.
With the show turning into a new (yet old, S2) direction(?), I'd surprised if this subplot shows up ever again. Either the wiggers will salvage it or the rest of the season is likely to turn into a trashfire, but I'll keep watching and see how the shitshow will unfold. I'm still optimistic for now.

You are right, production definitely wasn't salty. That's why they revealed the room early so Ben could fight Landon, because it was appropriate then, and not when they had to physically restrain two women from fighting each other hours before hand. That makes complete and total sense.

actually I missed that one and have only seen clips and heard people talk about it, still doesn't change that Ben is pretty obviously doing a bit, he did the same bit earlier by yelling at Landon.
landon's being very careful about toeing the line. he hasn't brought up anything that actually pisses them off(marky, /r9k/, sam's ex and her allegations) and doesn't push them too hard.

They were referring to the doomers, which is nothing new, almost every season there is at least one video from prod shitting on that segment of the fan base, Also, are you interpreting them saying they "just want to give someone 50K" as them wanting the season over with?
