I imagine trying to rationalize the current state with production would be akin to trying to rationalize with Landon when he's gotten janitor duty again. Can everyone who didn't already think so stop pretending they aren't retarded and fragile now?

They should have more than enough money around. But Sam is Jets role model in being extremely wasteful with money.

I believe them when they say they are desperate for cash this season, as I suspect Sam took the house sale money.

I think the plan was they use Fishtank for the capital, the show pays bills, buys houses, and then Sam gets the money for flipping the houses. Sucks to be the "Investors," they listed those houses as assets but I doubt the sale ever even hit a company bank account.

The market kind of sucks for buying and flipping, and doubly so when you do a ton of damage to the house. Even if you were planning to remodel. I'd bet the profit margin on those houses were less than a quarter of a million combined.

Season 5 probably needed to be a frugal reset. They could of bought a house in a more favorable state paid a lawyer to get whatever permits they needed to film for less than they are renting this House for. But this set up was pitched to them by a fan at the end of Season 4 iirc and the Wiggers are paradoxically lazy. I actually think squattertank in a tired but not completely run down house could of been is own kind of fun.
Sam Hyde probably used the money to pay his back taxes.
He was on the IRS list last year.

This feels like a fever dream.

I always find it funny to think about the way internet content creators act in relation to television. Could you imagine if some producer on a live TV show had a meltdown like this and just interrupted the show, filling the run time with them walking around the set seething?

It's their show, they had 8 months. They're in complete control. They casted all the fish and freeloaders.
Tf do they want from us lmao?

they want you to pay $100 to join their Telegram and glaze them about how they totally didn't need Sam and are making high art.

The worst part is:
>they had a good thing for 10 days
>got gaslit into thinking it had to be hellhouse and it sucked
>realised the hellhouse itself actually sucked and so did the paypig Streamstar girl they brought in
>are now perpetually spiralling because they think its unsalvagable

I typically like the Jet fucking with the fans meta shit, but its clear this is just speedrunning the death of the show rather than a bit.

I don't know what's going on. I was enjoying the Twins doing dumb bullshit in the downtime after Beth left, but production needs to seethe at the audience for a while instead...
