While the house is asleep and we're at each other's throats looking for something to talk about, I think it's high time we had a discussion about video filesizes. Simply put, nearly all clips posted ITT are way too fucking big for what they are and can be easily trimmed down with minimal effort and no meaningful reduction to video quality or length. Take this clip for example, the original was a whopping 79mb, all I did was run it through WebM for Bakas and shaved off nearly 66mb. There are other ways to do this too like changing how you encode your clips etc. but if you're a dumbass like me this is easiest.

Making clips smaller is good because some of us (me) are on Tor and shit's slow on Tor, and also if you want to keep sending Null FT clips to play on stream a smaller size means he won't get audibly frustrated at slow load times and bitch at the thread. :)

I agree with this tbh, landon has very similar physiognomy to some of these guys and I'd be genuinely shocked if it came out that he was a pedo after observing how he acts on the tank and the sort of woman he gravitated towards.

for me the biggest red flag is when someone is a creepy pervert about so-called "mundane kink", I knew a guy who always joked about butt stuff, turns out he didn't always want to do butt stuff with adults. My theory is they're using a "more acceptable" sex thing as a mask for their "less acceptable" sex thing. I put these in quotes because I don't think it's exclusive to pedos or even necessarily criminal sex acts. As a rule of thumb whatever evil people are willing to admit to you is less than 10% of the evil they're actually willing to commit.

I use handbreak for pretty much anything I post even if they are small and in good formats.
It is pretty simple to use for just size reduction but you can also use to to crop out at timecodes or frame count to trim clips down. Do this by selecting a Range option, defaults as Chapters.
For simple reduction you can go into the Dimensions tab and select a different Resolution and Scaling - Resolution Limit. But the best option for pretty much any file is under the Video tab Quality Setting, setting the Constant Quality to 27 is good and you don't see much loss in quality if any at all. you can do 30 and beyond that you really see it degrade.
That's all the setting you even need to care about, I think it defaults to setting the format to MP4, if not then look at that in Summary but no big deal.

TL;DR: Just simply set a preset (such as 720p30) and render to reduce size. Change chapters to seconds and specify the timestamps to make clips.
