With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

It doesn't look good, considering Bam also interviewed Mr. Naked and was friendly with him. Bam has been trying to rebuild his reputation for years after all the alcohol abuse, rehab, and Jackass fallout. He's been doing a great job, and this Mr. Naked thing is a huge setback for his public relations.

Now, in reality, no one cares about Bam/Mr. Naked cause only maybe 20,000 people watch Fishtank, but it could be a major setback if the right people wanted to clip it and make it look like Bam knew about his past and was cool with this dude.

Its been taken care off. They feed into the blogsphere the story of Ben battering a disabled nerd, and that will take the limelight from hiring yet another sexual predator.
 
Dare I say it but Laura is the best freeloader this season already. From what little ive seen of her she prods the fish to make engaging content

I've read in several places (Twitter, Discord) that Bam was offered $100k to host the season, but it got negotiated to $150k. It could all be bullshit, I'm only going off what I've read more than once. No one has posted a credible source for that, though. I originally thought Bam was an actual investor in FishTank, that he would be doing the hosting for free or incredibly discounted because he has a shared interest in its success, but sometimes Bam seems lazy as a host, so it makes me think he's just there to collect a paycheck and leave so I lean more towards he's being paid to host it vs he's invested in the show.
 
Has something been leaked about JD knowing this Laura chick or is it all a ruse? He's definitely acted weird from the moment she came through the door. From what I've infered there's a possibilty JD's "gf" is actually trans and that's what Laura is holding over him?

It's a bit that Laura is doing on JD, claiming to know him from somewhere in the past, but only revealing publicly available information about him, while he denies knowing her at all.

As far as I know, there's no actual evidence yet. She claims they e-dated for a time but hasn't been to give any details beyond that when pressed. It's basically just JD's guilty behavior that's driving all of the rumors. No idea why he's acting so guilty if it isn't true. Either it is true, or JD just had an embarrassing panic attack for some other reason and doesn't want to admit it.

The other free loaders were some weird fat friend of bam, a OF whore, an actual pedo, then drake's girlfriend.

This doesn't explain why he was immediately angry when she came into the tank. He was mad at her and kicking holes in walls before she even did anything to him.

I wonder if he thought it was someone he knew but just mistook her for someone else, and she sensed that energy and played into it. That would explain why he still can't admit why he acted that way.

The reason JD keeps going off about her eyes is because she probably had a mean little glitter in there when she met him, like the look in Frank Hassle's eyes when he's introduced to his target Fish. It's clear now that she intends to harass JD mercilessly the whole time. She's mostly nice to everyone else.
