With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

I've been working on a little project on the side and since we're now about halfway through the season I think it's a good time to ask people for any favorite clips or moments that I could use for it.
Here's a preview

The first half is more or less done but I can still swap out clips if I feel like they're better than the ones I have.

He keeps reiterating how he doesn't really care about winning and how above everything he is and that he really wants e.g. Landon to win because he doesn't need the money. Which really pisses me off because I expect him to at least put up a facade of trying. But going by his Discord DMs he's just a retarded fan who wants "in" on the whacky action.

unless you're actually cracked, working at a startup basically makes you California Poor. he's not some "10x" nigga who can basically self-manage projects and be trusted to work with little restriction, that's who's pulling over 300k a year with stock comps.

150k(the highest salaries submitted to glassdoor for his company) is about enough to afford to not live in the inner-city, buy the Newest iThing, Drink Soy Latte, and drive a Tesla in CA, but not enough for any kind of actual upper-class living.
he's a striver and probably feels inferior to his bosses and peers in SV who actually are pulling above 200k. he thinks he's better than everyone on fishtank and that's evident by his application.

CA seems like an absolute hellhole. Don't get why anyone would want to work there. There is no way he keeps his job after being on this show, right? I can not see his company being happy with him being on a show associated with Sam Hyde; pretty sure he's said the n-word as well when reading letters. What the fuck was this nigga thinking, not only that people fucking hate the guy cant see him coming out this with his job and his "GF"

Guess it also explains why he has been so boring. Too scared his job would see him do crazy shit.

I fucking hate the guy, too. At first, I thought it was just a meme. Every season, there’s that one guy who seems to get hit the hardest. But honestly, he’s insufferable. I can't quite pinpoint why. I struggle to even give him a name. It’s like he embodies Reddit. He’s the living, breathing version of every unfunny loser found in those cliché comedy movies. I’m convinced half of it stems from those terrible films.

I can already tell the final version is gonna make me tear up once the season is over.
 
Yesterday before we even had the JD dox, someone had a TTS directly referring to his home, Sunnyvale, multiple times in a nonsense string of words. I wonder if the rest of message had meaning? The Sunnyvale part stood out to me being a TPB fan, I thought it was referencing it initially.

He also only agreed to throw out Laura's stuff after Bashir kind of assisted. He refuses to act on his own. He is bitch made. He's not even a woman just because even Emma has the guts to go against others.
 
Not to fag it up because I am enjoying this season, more as background noise, but it really feels like the fish aren't very motivated to win the $50000 this season and it shows.

They may have given their reasons for wanting it when asked early on and yeah anyone would be happy to have it, but this season the impression I am getting is that the fish are here because they are lonely/want to vibe with the audience/e-fame after. James Drake crying out about the rules when Bashir was brought back felt like the only time someone was motivated to "win", Anissa had potential then farted out and wanted to be eliminated, Emma would go all out on challenges in a weird way but she dropped off and even Jet telling her she can start menacing people out is pending on results. I guess we will see how she handles the Bashir Hat Flushing, if she goes harder or backs down. Idk it feels like something is missing this season. I am still enjoying it, but damn.

I agree. I like the new season a lot overall. I’ve laughed my ass off

But it feels like a different type of show. Idk. For the most part I don’t feel it as I’m watching the show. But whenever I see clips from s3, or even s4, I can remember being much more engaged. I barely click around into different rooms at all and just keep it on director

I was skipping all around in S4. There was always multiple entertaining interactions happening. This season, I only go off director if it’s puke spam or I want to see what Bingo & Bongo are up to
