They may have given their reasons for wanting it when asked early on and yeah anyone would be happy to have it, but this season the impression I am getting is that the fish are here because they are lonely/want to vibe with the audience/e-fame after. James Drake crying out about the rules when Bashir was brought back felt like the only time someone was motivated to "win", Anissa had potential then farted out and wanted to be eliminated, Emma would go all out on challenges in a weird way but she dropped off and even Jet telling her she can start menacing people out is pending on results. I guess we will see how she handles the Bashir Hat Flushing, if she goes harder or backs down. Idk it feels like something is missing this season. I am still enjoying it, but damn.

I don't think people fully appreciate how cucked the mindset got for the Fish when Bashir was brought back and Beth was kicked out for starting shit. The moment Bashir got brought back it probably put them all into the mindset of being there more to entertain rather than to win, which is true from our perspective obviously but the fish taking the competition seriously will generally lead to better entertainment. They should have just took the L of losing 2 fish in one day and rush freeloaders in (also not kicking freeloaders cause they're causing trouble). There's a reason the Fish basically stopped doing anything once Beth got kicked until Jet outright had to tell them to start trouble again.

If TTS hadn't turned so hard on Bashir this morning and kept on him, I think he'd quit. But since all the heat is on Bashir I think he'll stick around.

Bashir coming back as a freeloader would have worked fine, the issue was him being a contestant. Kicking Beth was objectively the right call tho. She was just throwing water everywhere which was damaging to the house more than it was annoying the fish, and she had riled the fish up enough to get physical with her hours after she got there. If they hadn't protected her so much Anissa probably wouldn't have left imo.

Bashir's issue is that he can't come off as remotely genuine and every time he talks it's an information overload. Twins are always going to gravitate towards the calm dude giving them simple instructions, especially since Drake has shown genuine concern for them multiple times over the two weeks.
 

Overtime: Explicit spergs v normies. If all three are in the dorm at 1:30 they get something, Kody whispertaxed. They can't tell anybody
Technically if they are all standing in the dorm everybody gets money since normies just need them to not be in bed

Bashir talking to Drake through the door's glory hole would be a real Neptunian shot if the cameraman knew how to focus said camera.
 
Problem with this challenge seems to be what the wiggers aren't getting on the whole. Drake won the challenge, then they pulled 'OvErTiMe' and now none of them care because they think there's no benefit to causing chaos/disruption in the house. Really fundamental misunderstanding of how the contestants work this season. Started from the moment Bashir came back and they seem hellbent on sticking to it.
