I don't know how people compare these two to Josie. Season 1 was a long time ago but I don't remember her personality at all or much else other than the fact she existed and was seemingly immune to torture. My memories are all of her sitting in the background sperging like Emma if she had epilepsy.

I might get pushback, but to be somewhat fair. People who were Josie fans (who aren't simps) don't really have any dead sea scrolls to point out her likeabilty as the season 1 edits largely don't display it. It was mainly that she was a shy autist who gradually opened up as time went on and would engage alot when on her own. She would be that quiet kid who would randomly say or do something really funny out of no where. I think people found that endearing.

Production coddled her even though she never directly complained or requested anything be toned down on her, that combined with her simps over playing her durability. That and the frustration of production focusing mainly on Letty, alot of the ire got directed at her, which I don't find to be fair.

As for her similarity to the twins, I think it is solely the "little sister" energy. That sort of niavity and lack of malice that disarms alot of people. Most people liked Josie in the house, even Frank said he felt bad about trying to mess with Josie in S1. Pretty much everyone in the house likes the Twins and struggle to directly fuck with them.

That's where the similarity lives and dies though, because the Twins seem more prepared to be fucked with and engage alot more than Josie did.

I don't think that's really fair to them if production fucks up. That'd be on Jet at that point. Bongo directly said she was prepared to be fucked with more than she has been. But it's not on her (them) to seek out punishment. Seems fucked up if they got the whole way but lose because of a secret requirement.

My favorite part of that, the real meat of the bit imo. Alex B tormented by the ghosts of Fishtank past, the fleeting look like "was that Binx?" and his fight or flight activating (he's Alex B, so of course he chose flight), stopping dead in his tracks when he looks at the ad board with him kissing Binx on it, then Jet chasing him with lil Maejok like Sid's sister in Toy Story:
