Two thoughts about my favorite fish, Bashir and Landon:

I still can't get over the fact that Landon cannot tie his own shoes. The guy is able to navigate an airport and fly from Wisconsin to Georgia by himself, which for many retards is an insurmountable task. But tying a shoelace? Might as well be astrophysics to him. I love this goofy retard so much. I hope he wins the 50k and buys up Wisconsin's entire supply of cheese fries.

Similarly, it's hilarious to me that Bashir turned out to be an actual born and raised muslim Arab, instead of a white adult convert with a quarterlife identity crisis like everybody assumed he was in the first few days. I am aware that some Levantine Arabs can look deceptively white, people in that region sometimes have red hair, and that his mom is of white European descent. But still. He is truly one of the most random demographics that has ever been on fishtank.

I know I am late as hell with these two observations, but they have been running through my head for the past couple of days, and I keep cracking up at them at random intervals during the day.

TTS tells the twins they look beautiful today. Bongo's enjoyment of the compliment in contrast to their fresh out of bed look is good.

My current feeling towards this cast is like I'm watching a show that I've fallen in love with, but know it got cancelled after a single season so my time with these characters I'm invested in is finite. I'm gonna miss these characters interacting with one another and the shenanigans that surround them. It really is a good cast.

For fuck's sake. Emma may be gone, but the spirit of bitching about Bashir still lives on amongst the women. They can't stop talking about him and how he beats women.

Idea:
Frank comes back, but his only goal is to be the "dad that stepped up" for the twins. He treats James like a deadbeat absent father, criticizing all of his parenting decisions.
I feel as if everyone is forgetting Bongo reached out to Frank saying she wants to date him or Sam. Bongo might go into heat if Frank appeared

Frank is easily the most desperate to get back on the show that any figure has ever been, at this point it feels just Jet is just cold shouldering him intentionally to fuck with him and its working pretty well
I don't know, Freddy has been obsessively talking about showing up all season and alternating between begging to be brought back and threatening to just show up and destroy the show. Something in the air this season I guess.

The conversation they are having right now is pure longhouse in action. Nonstop kvetching about "evil" Bashir. They are going to circlejerk themselves into a frenzy and scheme against Bashir to get him out of the house if this goes on any longer.

Just makes it even funnier. They could play off that narrative and have him constantly and loudly turn down her advances, even if there aren't any. He could starts rumors about it and when no one believes him, he shows them the DMs privately. More shit to stir.

This season really feels like the Acali Experiment.

If you aren't familiar look it up, but the TLDR is that this anthropologist took 11 strangers on a long boating expedition with the theory that the isolation would drive them to start raping and killing each other. It ended up just being a group bonding between the 11 and the anthropolgist just seething that he was wrong. To the point that he tried to fabricate situtations to piss them off and start going at each other. It then resulted in the 11 subjects, instead, just bullying him and causing him to just sit deflated for the remainder of the expedition.

The audience and to a degree production is the anthropologist. And these fish are so amicable and likeable in person that people either grow to like them too much to mess with them or are bullied out. And even the baddest of the bad freeloaders have some level of humanity in them. People think Frank would fix it, but I feel like he would run into a wall similar to Josie in S1 where he feels too bad about trying to mess with the twins. Bashir and Landon know him so they would most likely just fanboy out. Maybe James Drake would be the most impacted but even then, I feel like he would just realize Frank has a line he can't cross and it would probably be similar (but less pussy) to when Simbal figured out the line in S3.

It reminds me of that one ancient greentext about the guy who ran a simulation of bots in CS Source or Garry's Mod or whatever, having them fight for 50000 hours in free for all to see what the optimal strat would be, only for him to check back later and see them just standing around doing nothing, and if he added any new players to the game they would all immediately gang up and kill the player on sight

The fish most likely to start shit this season were Bezo, Vicki and JD. Bezo left day 2, Vicki day 7 and JD was so bitch-made by TTS that he was too neutered to start anything. Friend Tank became inevitable under these conditions.

The Twins know everybody in the house very well at this point so of course they can bullshit up some psychic stuff better than a cold-reading for pay psychic. It's like when your significant other gets tarot card or a palm reading book and can give a killer reading.
I'm so sorry for anyone whose significant other gets into anything as patently retarded as mysticism or astrology. You can just leave them, you know?

It's really quite simple. Landon could learn to tie his shoes in less than an hour. Just like how, on the show, they got him to eat foods he's never eaten before. It's all to do with disposition, not ability.

Landon is stuck in his ways and closed off to things he's had bad experiences with in the past (and new experiences in general to a lesser extent). It's a personality trait that is definitely fueled by autism in his case. He probably had tard rages as a young kid when his parents tried to teach him. Eventually they gave up and you can get by in life with laceless shoes so he does.

Same with being a picky eater. I was one of the worst, but I got over it when I became an adult. Now I don't have autism, but Landon is still young so there's a chance he'll get over this shit. He may need to be pushed, but he's absolutely capable of doing more.
