With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

  • 1 Star — Absolute disaster. Unwatchable, boring, production fucked it up bad, the fish were lame

The Vimp tts stuff is making me wonder whether or not she has schizophrenia, or perhaps a schizoaffective disorder that has occasional hallucination episodes. I’ve seen similar sensitivity to stuff like this even in well medicated schizophrenics. - Then again I don’t recall seeing her turn up to the basement door to get meds like the others. Maybe it’s just sensory overload.
 
Anyone know what the noise is in the bar room? Sounds like an exhaust fan with a bad bearing. Only thing I can think of is maybe the ice machine under the bar?
 
Theory: The mysterious man in the hoodie who appeared just before the cams went down was an intruder. There have been multiple trespassing incidents prior to this, and someone even made it into the basement before (season one).

To me, Bam didn’t seem like her was drunk/ high, or angry like some people have suggested. They were just getting him out of the house due to the safety concern of having some random crazy guy in the house.

I doubt that. If you watch the swatting vid from the cop’s camera you see that production is well armed. There’s 3 guns in the basement and I feel like they’ve would’ve shot a big scary intruder coming through the basement. It also doesn’t seem to match with how Jet looked like he was trying to prevent Ban from leaving the basement. Also why would Jet go back down there if there was a weird big ass intruder in the basement?

Good theory, but why wouldnt Jet go up? And why did he make it sound like Ben should get Bam, then Ben looked kinda pressed to deal with Bam.
 
I haven't watched since the never die living night due to being busy and the tank seems alien and incomprehensible now. It's only been like 4 days what the hell.

Bam is scheduled to appear at the Fulton County courthouse tomorrow (April 7, 2026) at 9:00 a.m. Docket number is CP-29-CR-0000002-2026. Looks like this is when his team will enter a plea. Sounds stressful.

This leaves out a ~30 minute segment between Vimp breaking down and Bingo calming her. Drunk Bongo tried calming her down first by explaining she was hearing similar noises when she was alone and just found out today they were played by production (but also btw the house is extremely haunted and Bongo keeps seeing and hearing weird things) at which point an AI SFX plays which scares both of them out of the room and begins a ~12 minute panic as they run room-to-room trying to escape viewers spamming AI SFX everywhere.


Vimp and Bongo (now more scared than Vimp) finally find Bingo and go to confessional (momentarily)


At this point Maejok realizes what's going on, so the next time they flee back to confessional to explain what's happening-


After this Bingo coaxes them back once again explaining it's just shooting water vapor (it's not), so drunk Bongo slams her hand over the nozzle and gets a dry ice burn. At this point the shutoff mechanism also breaks and confessional fills up with fog.


Maejok comes in to unplug it as the trio are wandering out but it's hard to see through the fog.

Bongo in her drunken/terrified state can't tell who it is and starts panicking even harder thinking he's a stranger.


Vimp realizes Bashir can heal burns. A lot happens here.
