Daniel, Freddy, and Direnc drove that conflict forward in an entertaining way.

Seth, Angelina and Ellie were nontent slugs even as they got their candy.
I believe Angelina at least tried towards the end since Daniel almost gave up. But agreed, which is why I think most people said the candy challenge being now was a good idea since there are far less fish and far higher stakes, but changing the challenge to be inherently more defensive has harmed it greatly.

Not to incur the wrath of Twinners and Drake's Dragons but Dunyay yelling at Bashir for being boring and barricading himself when that's exactly what everyone else has done will never make sense to me. That's what has happened every time they play Fort tank, or its equivalant incarnations.

Landon standing there menacingly and will do nothing

I think the entire notion of turning the house into a battlefield is played out, and when you have people set up forts it works great in a 16-person dynamic, but not when there's only like 4 contestants and 4 freeloaders. You need an even number of contestants and above 10 at minimum for forts to work.

Any less than that, no forts, full subterfuge, body slams allowed.

Not that I disagree with your points, but has he said he’s studying Psych?
he didnt mention his Bachelors, said he mastered in religious studies and then said hes not going to reveal his doctorate yet. I assume thats why people are talking about him studying psychology, i was mostly responding to that

Forttank is giving me heavy Bashir fatigue. Do something else no matter what it is. Anything is better content and more genuine than this shit for everyone involved

In defense of the Twins, the main agression has been the three other fish. They playfully messed with Landon at the beginning of the challenge and got dog piled until Lara kicked a hole into their door. I think they realize there is no advantage for them to be agressive if the other three are just going to overlook them and they aren't being given an incentive to change that.

I agree man, and that's the point Bashir has tried to make. The best move is not to play at all.

FINALLY Landon did something.

I'm a ride of die Bashtard but LMFAOOOO. Bro. He dumped something on him on his own.

Fort Drake

  • Aesthetic
  • Guarded by an insane brown woman
  • Infinite layers of defense
  • Proven track record of success

Fort Bashir

  • Weak
  • Pathetic
  • Already crumbling
  • Can be destroyed by James whenever he pleases
  • Relies on using literal retards as human shields

Bashir: "Landon... that was really sad man... why did you need to do something to me..." - pretty much sums up why this guy is a faggot, regardless of whatever perceived rigging is happening. Just immediately goes victim mode every time without fail. If it's not an action which directly benefits him winning it's pointless.

It doesn't matter if Bam is out or not, unfortunately he was not a good host by any measure and I'm very confused by the people saying he was good at any point during the season.
Is it nostalgia? I watched Viva La Bam too, but I can put my rose colored glasses away.

Regardless of your opinions on Markyposting or his idealogy or whatever, Sam was a good host because of:
  • His physical stature. He towered over all the contestants and was a hulking presence, this alone gave him a lot of power.
  • His appearance / manner of dress. Despite it being a bit or over the top, he did wear suits / other formal types of clothing a lot, another thing which conveyed his role, unlike Jet with his stupid shoes and protruding nipples.
  • He knew what the fuck was happening. He is actually able to explain challenges on his own without help (except when it wasn't his fault because production shittily explained the challenges to him, or they made no sense to begin with.)
  • He was acting / playing a character. This makes him more interesting to watch in general, and even more so than a guy who just shows up and acts like one of the boys.
  • He did not pal around with the fish, for the most part. Obviously this creates a separation.
I know most of this seems very obvious but in the face of people saying "Bam was good" inexplicably it bears repeating.
These are all leadership qualities that Bam 100% did not demonstrate at any point. (Nor can Jet and to a certain extent, Ben.)
Was it fun to see him? Sure. Was he a good host? Hell no.
