They need a single person to manage their merch, from design to QC, and to stop pre-printing merch that may not sell. They also need to diversify the sites they sell it on. They're way behind on the merch game.They fucked up the die cut BINGO BONGO sticker design too on stickermule. Just alot of sloppiness on their part. They really badly need someone with attention to detail on the team to just audit shit.
Idk why they haven't bought dozens of copies of each plushy and then auctioned them off to the highest bidder on Whatnot after the first copy of the plushy is awarded to a contestant. People would buy them just because they're associated with their favorite fish, even though they're Alibaba/Oriental Traders cheap crap. "Ooo, I want the same plushy the Twins have," etc. And if nobody buys it, throw it back in the plushy stack and move on to the next one. It costs them the same whether people buy it as a fish toy or buy it for themselves.
It would be very easy for them to put up a little window in the corner of the screen so people could watch the Whatnot auction at the same time during the stream, or pop one up when a new design hits Shopify letting people know it's available. QR codes are your friends wiggers.
