It’s the same archetype as the manic pixie dream girl, just rebranded for the modern era. Men have gone crazy for it since Ann-Margret. Like many things, the archetype has enshittified since Ann-Margret
 
I think the goo might be one of the best bits they've ever done on any season. Not only have we gotten hours of great content out of it already, but the content is so varied. We've had violence, gaslighting, funny fish interactions, Dumbgay being SO PROUD of this children's science project he made, the visuals of traphouse Bliccy, Burt constantly losing it, and comfy goo-making content.

Burt is so useless, I already knew this but holy shit it's a whole other level this season. He cannot do ANY basic task. He also HAS to listen and respond to EVERY TTS, I wonder what the notification situation is on his phone. Bashir is extremely good at tard wrangling and the ONLY person in the house, including production, who can consistently get Burt on track.
 
Bliccy and Burt interacting makes up for any and all of the lackluster freeloaders. It's like a cartoon character cross over.
 
If they just turn the rest of the show into gaslight burt i would be completely fine with that. Give the people friendtank and hellhouse wrapped into one package. The contesant that gaslights burt the best wins the prize money.
