Not to TMI but a journalist relying on a 3rd party (especially the one hes interviewing) to provide him with his only source of post-interview recording is extremely bad journalism. He does allegedly work for Wired so maybe.

Bam was also doing press and other interviews that were outside the tank and I think he would have the connections to actually do a real interview for a major magazine publication.

Fishtank has so much audience involvement it isn't just tormenting the cast, but also becomes tormenting the audience as well. It's an amazing show, 10 out of 10, will fuck my sleep schedule into oblivion over again and again and again
