With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

There's no good way to watch season 1. Official edit was pretty bad, and missed the most interesting parts of the show in favor of more Jet screentime. The clip/recap videos are probably better, but still aren't great because iirc they mostly leave out how brutal it was for Letty.

Season 2 episodes weren't as bad iirc, might have been better than actually watching. Season 2 had high highs but a baseline of the worst days of season 5, if not lower. It had a weird effect where the people who watched it live think it's the worst season, and the people who only watched clips of it think it's the best season. Also Shinji gets fucked in the edit.

Bloodgames fan edit is legitimately good, if you can find it. I'm pretty sure it's in the thread somewhere.

Season 3 episodes, from what I saw, are edited to be "famous house" as opposed to being fishtank. You miss out on every bit that involves Sam fucking up his line and getting more and more pissed, which was one of the funniest parts of early season 3. It's probably a good edit if you understand that every time you see Sam do a scripted bit, it took probably 20 takes to get right with him getting extremely hostile between each take, usually arguing with Gay Ben about whether the take was good or the lines make sense, which is why the fish all look like they're ready to die when they show up in the bits. You also miss out on Burt being Burt non-stop.

Season 4 had a high baseline, but it ended too early to have any sort of plot, so clips are probably the best way to watch it.

It's like a gay retarded game of Clue. They're trying to question Burt on if he used Vimp's toothbrush & are comparing the bristles on Burt's toothbrush to the bristles on Vimp's toothbrush. Enthralling

It’s saids to the quality of this season for me that not only has it not burned me out like 1 and 3 did (missed 2 and blood games and don’t count 4 cause it was unfinished) But it generally got me more invested as the time went on.
This season has felt as though it’s never really ran out of gas and I can’t put it down to a singular thing.
lack of Sam to intimidate production and fish, the fish themselves, the shorter season, directors cam and the handheld feed, jets little basement whispers to the audience, production of goo.
It’s been 10/10.
