With Aryeh, if I remember right, he was trying to force being funny more and more often, which usually made him unbearable. The degenerate shit with Ricky Berwick was probably the straw that broke the camel's back for a lot of people, I don't think even Burt would do half the shit Aryeh did with Ricky.

Man, I will admit to being someone who was Burt fatigued post S3, but his showing in S5 has just cemented his position as the all time greatest fish for me. He is made for the tank.

This time it's a very different experience, everyone is happy to press him instead of treating him with kid gloves and nothing has made me laugh harder all season. I just wish they brought him in earlier.
 
I remember when he tried to kiss vimp and she said he would regret it, he's only doing it for the content, etc. Well he got his first kiss for content and spent hours coping and regretting it.

Its almost like he should have listened. He incel gooned too close to the sun and now his first kiss is with bingo. How fucking grim holy

Jet talked a lot on his off-season plans and the state of the community on Telegram this day.

Jet has a lot to say today, mostly about plans for content after the season ends as well as his views on the community feedback and response from production.

***__Potential Off-Season Content Plans:__***

Jet first explains his two main ideas for off-season content.

The first idea is a "hardcore" survival camping stream that takes place over the course of 10 days on a large property with 4 Survivors. The Survivors would get tools and equipment to survive with including guns, and would need to live off the land while fending for themselves.

The second idea seems to be Jet's favourite. He explains he wants to do a "Project X" themed streamer party house that takes place over the course of 3 days. He wants to have a 100 person party in a mansion, each person sourced from their casting rolodex. As the party goes on the audience would vote in narrative polls on who to eliminate from the house every 45 minutes, eliminating boring contenders. The people who "win" the party house could potentially be Fish on future seasons of Fishtank.

Jet further explains details on the Party house, namely that it would have similar rules to Fishtank, like no cell phones, and stresses that he doesn't want it to be gay or corny.

Lastly, in regards to off-season content. It sounds like the cameras will still function even after the season ends. ***"idk how long the house will stay on after, but its gonna keep going"***

***__Productions Thoughts on Community Feedback, Fishtank Changes & Dooming:__***

Jet voices his frustration with parts of the community, namely X and the main chat on the Fishtank website. He says many screenshots had been taken of the Telegram chat out of context and further used for a doom narrative this season, which prompted them to stop interfacing with the community for a week until he felt the dooming had settled a bit.

Next, Jet explains this season being their "make our break thing". He acknowledges how everything is very different from past iterations of Fishtank and that the community is rightfully annoyed. ***"If Fishtank is a table then the perspective is that the table is missing legs, and wobbling."*** Jet predicts that there are many fans that will leave after this season, namely due to not being fans of Ben and Jet, or that they were only fans of Sam, or because Fishtank is changing too much.

Furthermore, Jet talks about this being their most riskiest, weirdest diversion from the mean, mostly due to moving across state lines. He says ultimately they're embracing this new change and won't know if it was a success until after the season concludes, but he suspects it will be a success.

***__Production Stress Relief:__***

Next in the long discussion from Jet is his thoughts on production stress boiling to the point where they have "hissy fits". Jet explains he knows they will happen every season and so they bake them into the schedule. He says that the team is only human and is of course going to make many mistakes. He says he is perfectly comfortable with people crashing out seeing it as a healthy avenue to relieve stress.

Lastly, he reiterates that he feels it was right to take the vibe repair day on Saturday because it would have been gay to force grumpy production staff and sleepy Fish to make content. He further says that if people cant handle 3 hours of binaural beats that they're too addicted to Fishtank and are experiencing withdrawal. Jet stands by the 3 hour timer troll, saying that if it was too mean for some people then they can stop watching the show.
 
Say what you well about Jet but he does an admirable job of trying to keep things moving, I guess
