With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

  • 1 Star — Absolute disaster. Unwatchable, boring, production fucked it up bad, the fish were lame

I truly don't understand the JD glazing, he is so massively advantaged in a 'fair' competition that it's crazy.
There has never been a more advantaged fish in ft history, he is an actor with twice the size and endurance of the other fish. So any challenge involving anything physical or anything performative(so 95% of challenges) is like a 4:1
You people are talking about him like its a surprise that a normal, good looking, socially capable, strong guy got this far, why? because he had to hear the nigger word?

TOTAL. NORMIE. VICTORY. For real though maybe the fish should have put effort into getting him out if he was such a threat. Instead everyone wanted Brotank, so if James coasted to victory it's all on them. Emma could have shot him.

Burt determined yesterday that the twins have a 4 to 1 advantage over Drake.
Drake had to do the watermelon golfing challenge, which sapped his energy by 50%.

The twins did not have to do this, so they are at 100%, but there is TWO of them, so they are actually at 200%, which is 4 times more energy than Drake has.

Fishtank is more out there than just having to hear "nigger". JD knew what Fishtank was and decided to leave because he couldn't handle Laura for like 3 days. Drake knew it'd be a zany livestream thing hosted by Bam Margera, he probably didn't realise he'd be giving himself carpet burn, barricading himself Waco style as the rest of the house squirted mayonnaise in his eyes, doing icky pukers etc.
Most normies would've noped out of there, I think he's just insanely competitive (the nigga has a shirt that says "Competitive") and probably short on cash, so now he's pushing a watermelon up and down stairs with his head.

Where is this idea that the mentally weak are actually better at handling extreme pressure like having to give yourself rugburn coming from?

It isn't surprising. It's not surprising that either the Twins or James are here. They got fucked with even less than James and had tons of personalized production interaction. Anyone in the "know" about FT would know that you can't let a guy like James just coast but all the fish were too busy hanging out. I don't think most of them even cared about the 50k tbh. I'm not going to fault James because he's actually fighting for it.

He came in with a massive disadvantage of not really knowing about FT (partially his fault) and none of the fish used this to their advantage. I think too much of the audience just thinks autism = win.

Who said mentally weak? Don't strawman me, nigger. I said he's a normie, just that he's a weird type of normie that would put up with Fishtank to make it to the final day. Lots of mentally strong normies with different attributes and needs would've left a long time ago.
