This will be extremely gay and long but I thoroughly enjoyed this season, in fact I think it might be my new favorite season despite the ending...we will see in time. The characters are what sold it for me. It was a good cast. I was a huge Bashtard and honestly imo he is a winner as well, he wasn't a sore loser, and he made connections with Bam, Jet and Ben. And I hated him to begin with. I think he will be successful in whatever career he pursues, and won't have to rely on streaming to get by. He is obviously very intelligent. Not perfect by any means, but he knew when he was a faggot and owned up to it. That's pretty cool. I love you BASH! He was a top 5 fish for me. I was genuinely upset about Landon's arc and I hope lil buddy gets his shit together. He is a genuinely entertaining guy and his mogging production bits got me every time. Also the way he fucked up every single line given to him, per se. I loved the Tiger and wish he could gain some confidence in himself without alcohol. He is just a funny dude. I will never stop thinking of "nigger babies" His janitor arc was so exciting at first with such a let down. The Vimp shit was so cringe, but also she should have just been more clear with Landon and saved him by ending it and not making it a joke. IDK. He clearly struggles with women. I just kinda lost some respect for her as well. I was a huge fan of the twins originally but their schtick kinda wore off for me. After Bingos exaggerated "withdrawal" from Adderall and Bongos melt down during their candy elimination, which, I was originally against the recount. I was put off by the suicide baiting and just being a sore loser in general. Also they literally hung out in the Jungle Room for 3 days drawing on the walls while Bingo slept, confident they had it in the bag by doing nothing and relying on their "fans". Getting shit faced AND TRUSTING BASICALLY A STRANGER TO HANDLE DELIVERING THE CANDY. I was hoping they learned a lesson after that, I am not sure though. But I am glad things went the way they did because clearly Landon's arc was over and I am happy they get to leave with $20,000 and I hope that they use that money wisely to improve their lives. They deserve a good ending, they gave some of the best moments and I am still a fan. I cried watching them with Drake in the goo struggling because it was rough to see them suffer, and I could tell the entire room was put off by that. It was a bad feeling. At the same time, they tried their best and that's what matters. Life isn't fair, and they could have easily tapped out sooner, like on the first round. I am not mad about it. I honestly felt more bad for them because Jet clearly was tired of their shit and did not want them in the final "2" and he made that pretty clear, him and Ben both. If the twins picked up on that (I'm sure they may have) then that would be a pretty defeating feeling. But I do understand where production was coming from. They were quite lazy a lot, well Bingo anyway. They are also extremely codependent and dangerously so. Hopefully they come out on top, I believe in them. Last one, Season 5 winner James Drake. After Bash left I didn't really care who won either way. Good for him. He did put a lot of fight in, but I do find him to be a bit of a sore loser and often a malding faggot.. When his manhood or strength is called into question he gets weird, like when people were calling him Bash's bitch on TTS and Bash was just dancing and doing a fake gun point moves and Drake asked him to stop. and we got the arm wrestle shit. (BASH W) That was pretty lame. Just one example. It was telling as well in the beef challenge he just focused on defending himself "the father that stepped up" LOL. ALSO getting everyone to believe Bash was constantly manipulating (esp Landon) was so funny because Drake is a master manipulator. And good for him honestly. He won for that. He played and stayed hard. He has his faults like everyone else, but he did deserve to win for the fight he put up. And good on him for not saying Nigger or whatever, even though after everything I doubt that matters, but not compromising your morals is admirable. I do think it was funny and cringe how he chose Bash to be his "racism" target, because it was clearly real rage. In the end he didn't bitch out because of the twins, they totally could have, and he fought until the end. Good Game bud, now get home to those Nigger babies. This is a nit pick but nigga needs to quit the nic gum, my fucking god. Nothing annoys me more than a person constantly chewing gum and talking. LOL
All in all, Jet and Ben did a great job casting. I came out loving (most) the cast for their unique personalities and I wish them all the best. I could tell a lot of love and effort was put into this season. The only nit pick I have is, Wiggers gonna Rig. It's part of the show. I doomed less this season than other seasons and I'm sure that is surprising to hear. I was always entertained. At the end of the day it's their hard work and effort that brings us Fishtank and I love them for that. Especially after the failure of S4 they had a lot to live up to, and on their own as well. Ben's cortisol levels were severely spiking the entire season LOL. Sometimes I think it's a character and other times I know it's not. But it's still hilarious. They did it. And I will be there the next time and the next. Sam's belief and funding helped this project exist but Jet proved it was his own. Good for him. This was the most charming I've EVER seen him. I am happy he is finally able to take some fucking jokes goddamn.
LAST THING. Bam was there. As someone who grew up a tomgirl and fangirled for Bam HARD in my earlier tweens it was amazing to see these worlds collide. I don't know if I think he added anything other than maybe a morale boost and "celebrity" but you could tell he genuinely enjoyed it. He seems like a good dude and I really hope he keeps it together, whether we see him again or not. I personally am leaning probably not as Jet specifically said "people will remember that season 5 of Fishtank was hosted by Bam Margera". Either way his friendship with Bash was cute, but his constant spoiling of bits or twists was a little wild. Especially the end. He also kinda just existed on his own schedule. Ben cucking his speech at the end was soo cringe LOL. I did actually kinda feel bad for him. Jet and Ben proved something that maybe some will disagree with, but I hella doomed when I learned Sam wasn't coming. They proved Sam isn't a mandatory figure of the tank, but he's an iconic one. But maybe a "Host" per se isn't necessary other than for promotion. I DON'T KNOW. Maybe having random hosts will be a theme. Nobody will ever be Sam but Sam helped them lay the groundwork and they are all grown up now. They don't need him.
Also sorry Franktankers but I did not miss him at all and his beef with Jet was funny and cringe. Frank gets in these weird relationships with FT orbiters outside of the seasons (Burt, Dumbgay, Greg, etc.) and then it always goes sour, which makes me wonder....His off season antics last time started funny with Furt then just got weirder, especially with cops and all that NONSENSE. And I would say I am generally a "fan" of his (even before FT) so I was happy to not see him. I can't think of any scenario he would have made better. Obviously he has burned some bridges, and same with Jet, but Franks burned bridges are more weird and parasocial. ANYWAY.
GREAT SEASON GANG I HAD SO MUCH FUN IN SNEEDCHAT WITH YA'LL. LITERALLY MADE MY DAY.. I can't wait to catch up and do this shit all over again next season. Love ya
