Landon is truly on his Kafkaesque arc. He was trying to be a tiger, but became a paper tiger. aka a person that claims or appears to be powerful or threatening but is actually ineffectual and unable to withstand challenge. The Monkey King, Alex B, is another paper tiger.

He lost his way and now has become the insect, crawling and groveling as he did with the women he followed. Bashir and Drake attempted to assuage his pains with stories of fucking things up with girls. Landon has likely never fumbled the bag this hard with a girl before. Both Bashir and Drake came in and tried to get him to stop being an edgy 14 year old.
