With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

  • 1 Star — Absolute disaster. Unwatchable, boring, production fucked it up bad, the fish were lame

  • 2 Stars — Pretty bad. Some funny moments, dragged, too many vibe repair days. Barely worth checking.

  • 3 Stars — Average. Solid entertainment in spots, some good chaos and crashouts, but nothing special

I think there's a couple of ways you can make this work. If we say 10 is normal, and 1 is complete, no return from it degen, I would argue most fish fall in the 3-6 category. Definitely a few fish have gooned to the back pages of rule 34. I mean, Alex B ordered custom made fetish art of him and his porcupine of a wife. Not to mention Jin, TJ, BURT, etc

One of the coolest side plots of this season was watching Frank cope and seethe and then finally the conclusion is that they ghosted him
 
Some interesting stats from the horse's mouth, a TTS asked Wes what the cloud flare usage was, he checked it on his phone and said they had 2.2M unique visitors to the site (all time?) and 37TB of usage (not including videos) in the last 30 days

A TTS a second after that asked about automating STOX via AI and he said they ban that. Good thing I never bothered lmbo.
 
Bezopasan has always been a suspicious character who shouldn't be made to feel comfortable. He sets out to be chums with the most disliked members of the Minecraft anarchy community. Dreams up attention-seeking stunts with other sociopaths in private clubs. Keeps questionable company who promote each other at the expense of the little guy. One of his fervent friends is the notorious doxer Jared2013. Jumps at any opportunity to boost his online status, throws shade at adversaries he's envious of. Loves flame wars and empty content while being a faggot drama hound. Generally manipulative, bad faith, promotes toxicity, arrogant, inflated sense of importance. Revels in being hated, feeds off the drama for more clicks. Just a piece of shit.

I love that despite Mauro was fired during bloodgames, crashed out on production with markeyposting and threats of lawsuits, he was offered a freeloader spot for season 5.
Guess time heals all wounds and let bygones be bygones.

Landon came out of the basement with Vimp (carrying her bag for her), and is packing his stuff, responding to Landon's Song by saying it's time for them to move on and he's leaving the house. His flight is supposed to be Sunday, I think he said something about "moving onto to somewhere better".
