And you have people that are so sick that they enjoy and derive sexual pleasure from fucking with other people, I'm sure there's not a small amount of them in the production of whatever this show is and in the audience too (and here in this thread, saying I'm insane for saying all this). The kind of people that would use their authority position to have people imprisoned against their will and medically experimented on, or just tortured for their sadistic pleasure. Psychopathic sadists that figure out how to inflict torture without consequences.

Yeah but other reality shows (even though I hate them too but not for the same reasons) don't do nearly as much fucked up psychological things to their contestants. Casting vulnerable people is one thing, but making a contest intentionally targeted at their mental illness to intentionally make them relapse is a different thing entirely. Like if you take in a bulimic and intentionally make them compete in a contest made to make them relapse, for example. Then you make fun of them relapsing by saying icky pukers. It breaks them down on intentionally in a sadistic way that you can't claim was an accident or that it was their own choice.

The fundamental difference between this forum and fishtank is that the forum's point isn't to intentionally cowtip and interact with the cows, the cows make themselves look stupid and you just point and laugh at them. Some people come here to request personal armies and cowtip and they get shunned. Some still cowtip regardless, but it's not accepted as normal.
The entire point of the show is to take people with weaknesses and exploit them. It's nothing but cowtipping, or even making otherwise normal people into cows, and torturing them.

Go back 100-200 years, I would have taken my wife and family to the traveling freakshow that came to town and who set up their tent in the Wilson's corn field. We'd laugh at the bearded woman or the fattest man on Earth, and then we would go on with our lives.

Now I have the Kiwifarms and Fishtank and I enjoy watching compelling eccentrics and I feel no guilt at all.

What I don't do is fall in love with them or think they're my friends, or jerk off to their feet. I don't try to connect with them and I would never want to meet them in person because they're freaks lolcows.

Its human nature, brother. These people are all interesting to me in some way. These are all uniquely ridiculous people who overshare online for no other reason than they're compelled to because they're self important. I enjoy the Patrick S. Tomlinsons and Bossmanjacks and Ian Jomhas of the world. Jet Neptune created the Fishtank to put these people on live stream, put them in interesting situations, and it's wonderful to watch.

Sometimes it attracts people like me, and sometimes rarely, at least on Kiwifarms, it attracts people like @Meiwaku. Its only unhealthy if you treat it as anything more than a freakshow and most people here thankfully do not.

So don't watch it. These people can leave at any time if they don't like how they're treated or how things are going down. A few have, but most of them don't.

The only objection that I have is that I think all the losers should get a day rate so nobody goes home completely empty-handed. $200 a day is a nothing wage, and people are disrupting their lives and unable to work as long as they're on the show. They should be compensated for their time. Maybe this niggardly behavior is the reason why they have so much trouble getting a decent cast and the auditions are heavily weighted towards fat incel gooners and septum-pierced whores.
